近年、雲龍院によくお邪魔する理由の一番は、やはり「写経」である。
また写経のあと、お茶と茶菓子をいただきながら庭園をゆるりと眺めるのも楽しみ。
そして、その庭園を囲む各書院の趣向が心に響く。

In recent years, the number one reason why I often visit Unryu-in is "copying sutras". Also, after copying the sutras, enjoy a relaxing view of the garden while enjoying tea and sweets.
And the taste of each Shoin surrounding the garden touches my heart.

さらに、寺院にして洗練された佇まいが感じられる。
寺院特有の静寂さのなかに、ワクワクさせてくれる仕掛けが随所に見られる。

In addition, you can feel the sophisticated appearance of the temple.
In the silence peculiar to the temple, you can see exciting gimmicks everywhere. 

その一つが、写真で紹介している廊下やトイレ、洗面台などの片隅にも美しさを演出している。行くたびに飾りや演出効果が異なるのには驚かされる。

One of them is to create beauty in the corners of the corridors, toilets, and wash basins shown in the photo.

これらの些細な演出が、雲龍院ならではの詫び寂びとして訪れる人たちの心に届いているように思う。

I am surprised that the decorations and effects are different every time I go.
I think that these trivial productions have reached the hearts of visitors as an apology and loneliness unique to Unryu-in.
