仏師 三浦耀山さん。この方との出会いは20年近く前になろうか。
比良山麓にある仏所「勢山社」の代表であり大仏師・渡邊勢山師の内弟子として13年間にわたり仏師としての修行をされてきた。それから勢山社で何度かお目にかかっている。

Buddhist master Miura Youzan. Will I meet Mr.Miura almost 20 years ago?
He has been training as a Buddhist priest for 13 years as an uchideshi of the great Buddhist priest, Seizan,Watanabe who is the representative of the Buddhist temple "Seizansha" at the foot of Mt. Hira. Then l have met several times at Seizansha.

 その三浦さんと、2週間前にお会いする機会があった。十数年ぶりの再会だった。それまでは、随所で仏師としての活躍がメディアとかネットを通して伝わっていた。独立され自分の仏所を京都に構え仏像製作や修復の仕事で活躍されている。

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Miura two weeks ago. It was a reunion for the first time in more than a dozen years. Until then, his activities as a Buddhist priest were transmitted through the media and the Internet everywhere. He became independent and set up his own Buddhist workshop in Kyoto and is active in the work of making and restoring Buddhist statues.

 「土御門仏所(つちみかどぶっしょ)」という屋号で開所され10年が経つ。工房を訪ね、むかし話などに華が咲いた。

It has been 10 years since it was opened under the name "Tsuchimikado Bussho". I visited the workshop, and the flowers bloomed in the old stories.

 詳しくは随時紹介していく予定。 “ 耀山にして この仏像あり ” という印象だった。
