小春日和に背中を押され、10か月ぶりに西本願寺さんへお参りに行ってきた。
阿弥陀堂の祭壇が改修中だったので、阿弥陀如来像が御影堂の祭壇中央に仮移転され、
向かって右に親鸞聖人像、左に第23代勝如宗主 勝如上人像が安置されていた。

Pushed by mild autumn weather, I went to visit Nishi Hongan-ji for the first time in 10 months. Since the altar of Amida-do was under renovation, the statue of Amida Nyorai was temporarily relocated to the center of the altar of Mikage-do.

The statue of Shinran Saint was enshrined on the right, and the statue of Katsunyo shonin, the 23rd Suzerain of Katsunyo, was enshrined on the left.

毎回訪れて度に、広い堂内でゆるりと過ごさせていただく。とくに昨日は、参拝者がまばらだったので、じっくり祭壇に祀られるそれぞれの像を拝見させていただいた。寛げる空間で穏やかな時間が流れた。

Every time I visit, I will spend a relaxing time in the large hall. Especially yesterday, the worshipers were sparse, so I took a closer look at each statue enshrined on the altar. A calm time passed in a relaxing space.

門を潜り正面に黄葉ざかりの大きな銀杏が目に入った。周りを見渡すと、銀杏の葉が黄色に染まっていた。手水鉢には青銅の龍が本堂をむき口から聖水が流れていた。

I went down the gate and saw a big ginkgo tree with yellow leaves in front of me. Looking around, the leaves of the ginkgo were dyed yellow. A bronze dragon was peeling off the main hall in the chozubachi, and holy water was flowing from the mouth.
