預言者ムハンマドと少女アイーシャの結婚とセックスに関する真正なハディース（ムハンマドと彼の教友らの言行録）は、Sahih al-Bukhari 5134以外にも下記のものがある（Sahih Muslim 1422c）。ハディースによって、アイーシャの結婚時の年齢が６歳だったり、７歳だったりする。

１０章：父親は若い処女の結婚を斡旋することが許されている。
「アラーの使徒が彼女が７歳の時に結婚し、そして彼女が９歳の時、自分のうちへ新婦を連れ込んだ。その時、彼女は人形と一緒だった。彼女が１８歳の時、彼（聖なる予言者）は亡くなった。」とアイーシャ（アラーよ、彼女が御心にかないますように）は語った。
