In Lima

I heard that Lima is having a rare mild winter due to the rising sea water temperature caused by the El Niño phenomenon. It was roughly 20 degrees Celsius during the day and around 18 degrees Celsius at night, but it was chilly for me.
My paternal grandmother lives in Lima, and I came to see her for the first time in four years. Now she is 95 years old.
Since I arrived two days late, I did not have much time to spend with my grandmother. Also, I had to apply at the consulate for a certificate of her residence, which is necessary to continue receiving her pension, and renewed her cash card of the bank.
And I went to the Japan Foundation Lima Cultural Center, which just opened in May (I had a tour performance in Lima in 2019, which was a Japan Foundation project) and met with the producer of a theater festival in Lima, and then I got a fever. Probably because of the change of climate and fatigue, and I had to sleep for a whole day.

Chicken soup with lots of vegetables (sopa de pollo)
Caigua, a vegetable similar to cucumber, with minced meat, olives, etc. (caigua rellena)
I don't remember what it is, but it's delicious with green bean-like vegetables and chicken meat in a thick sauce!
Chicken rice (arroz con pollo)
Purple Corn Jelly (mazamorra morada)

With only a week in Lima, and feeling guilty about leaving my grandmother behind, I expressed my gratitude to Yolanda and her family for taking care of her, and headed for Sao Paulo. In Sao Paulo, I will stay for about a month to create the first of my new work with Eduardo Fukushima.
