I visited the factory in China again.
We were schduled to export our products directly to Taiwan to China by tripartite trade. This time I came here as an sales rep./interpreter/supporting stuff for inspection. As for inspections, I supported my senior colleague who works for machining (processing) for a long time as his career according to his instruction.

It was sometimes difficult to inspect products by inspection tools we brought from Japan depending on the conditions of the products. In such circumstance, we need to request the stuff there to use their tools or facilities, which require an interpreter for communications. That was what I should do during the inspection. Therefore, when the company ordered me to go to China, I started to learn names of inspection instruments, facilities,
besides I checked the names of instruments and tools to expected to be used in advance and made a list for learning and memorized them by reading them aloud over and over again. This is a very important process and preparation before going to business trips and we understand that if I do this, communications will be smooth.

Thanks to the supports of senior colleagues around me, the inspection works during the business trip was very smooth and conducted without troubles.

I make it my rule to prepare things like above for business trips and obtained knowledge will be a big asset, I believe.
