Revealing behind the scenes of internatinal sales rep. (2)

People around me often ask me if I have time for sightseeing when going on overseas business trips.

I'll answer "Yes" for this question, but it's all up to companies or types of business trips, I think.

In general, the person from your representative wants to visit customers there with you, so they tend to make as many as appointments for you.. you know what I mean?

Instead of visiting many customers and making you very busy, they tend to take you to nice restaurants for lunch and dinner, besides, if you are near the tourist places, they will take you to those places.

For my case..., one day was the national holiday in Taiwan and I couldn't visit any customers there and in such circumstance, I was able to visit Chiufen(九份) at that time.

When I was in Thailand, I visited The Bridge Over River Kwai since we have time for the night flight to Japan at that time.

When I stayed in Vietnam as an installation supervisor, I savored the atmosphere of Tet.

When I visited a customer in Bangladesh, I had the opportunity to walk in the area of old Dhaka because we couldn't drive our car onto the area.

Working should come first, but you should also respect yourself.
