お客さまからもらった忘れられない手紙がある。折に触れて読み返しては自分の仕事の意味について考えている。書かれていた内容についてはここでは控える。
ただわたしが何より驚いたことは「わたしたちの営みが誰かの夢であったこと」だ。全く想定していなかったから、これには心を揺さぶられた。
そしてこの湧き上がる感情はどこから来るものなのか考えてみた。それはわたしたちの理念や目指すべき方向性への共感の表明だったからか。この手紙の存在によって考え方や世界の見え方が大きく変わった。
サイボクに彼女の夢が仮託されている。そんな感覚だ。これはなにもサイボクに限ったことじゃないかも知れない。みんな誰かの夢を生きている。あるいは誰かの夢を生きていないとは言えない。
わたしたちの仕事は、いつかの誰かの夢という可能性。2013年、一通の手紙がわたしの人生に新しい意味を与えた。
そうか、あれからもう10年経ったのか。

There is an unforgettable letter I received from a customer. I read it over from time to time and think about the meaning of my work. I won't go into the contents of the letter here.
But what surprised me most of all was that our work was someone else's dream. I had not expected this, so this shook me.
Then I thought about where these feelings were coming from. Was it because it expressed sympathy with our philosophy and the direction we should be heading in? This letter's existence has changed how I think and see the world.
She entrusted her dream to Saiboku. That's how I feel. This case is not all about Saiboku. Everyone is living someone else's dream. Or somebody cannot say that we are not living someone else's dream.In 2013, a letter gave new meaning to my life.
Well, ten years have already passed since then.
