Remember
About four weeks have been passed, and about two months are left till the end of my study abroad.
I think I've already got used to the life in the United States. I could make friends and find some my favorite places. One of my roommates is very friendly, and he taught me a lot of things.
Although I'm not financially stable now, I found a good way to survive in this country.
I was struggling to get used to the way of taking classes. This was a serious problem for me because I felt like I was an underachiever (a bad student) when I can't understand and can't join the discussion. I was doing my best to keep up with the class, and there was no room for raising my hand and saying my opinion (joining the discussions).
Also, I couldn't see a massive improvement in my English and academic skills even though I'm studying abroad in the U.S.
I was very frustrated.
I whined on Instagram one day. Then, my friends all over the world sent me messages. They encouraged me. I was strongly energized by their messages.
And finally, I could raise my hand and say my opinion in a big class. I know my comment was poor, and didn't stimulate the class, but it was impressive for me. I think I could move forward thanks to my friends.
Today, I found an impressive phrase. I wanna share this phrase with y'all.
"When you feel like giving up, remember why you started."
I'll never forget today, the day I could make a small but a big progress.
Once again, thanks everyone.
Many thanks for reading my note.
See you soon.
