今日は、8月6日(土)に開催されたイベント
「横浜能楽堂 伝統文化一日体験オープンデー」のレポートです！

Welcome to Atelier masanii.
Today I'll show you an event report at Yokohama Noh Theater held on Aug 6.

仕舞鑑賞や舞台裏見学、小鼓やお香づくりの体験など、盛りだくさんのプログラム。
その中で私は「折り紙」を担当させていただきました。
由緒ある伝統芸能や工芸の中に、折り紙を加えていただき嬉しく思います。

There was various programs that show Japanese traditional cultures, and I had Origami class.
I was pleasure that Origami was counted among such a venerable arts.

１年半ぶり、今回が２回目のお誘いだったのですが、相変わらず感染対策バッチリの運営となりました。
それでもやはり、活気を肌で感じられるオフラインは格別です。

I had been invited to this  event in winter 2020, infection prevention was necessary again this time.
However, face-to-face opportunity that makes us feel liveliness is irreplaceable!

私のような者が「折り紙勢代表」として臨んでいいものか…
身に余る気持ちですが、決まったからには堂々とやるっきゃない。
アシスタントに駆けつけてくれたトコさん・Keikoさんと一緒に頑張りました。
Am I worth being as "Origami representative"...
Though it may be presumptuous, once I accept, I'll do my best with a proud!
Assistant Keiko & Toko joined, it was so worthwhile time.

採用した題材は「かきごおり」「デジタル数字」。
そう、先月の図書館講座でもお世話になったモデルです。
好評につき、２試合連続で登板してもらいました！

The models I adopted are "Shaved ice" & "Digital Numbers", same as last month.
These are so popular that I continue to used them twice.

先月と違ったのは、タイムスケジュール。
10名×5回、ひと枠30分
なかなかの高速回転です。
切り盛りするのは意外と大変で、入場→着席→挨拶＆説明→素材選び
というプロセスは結構タイトでした。

The only difference was timetable.
10 participants, 30min, and 5 times.
Pretty quick!
It was so hard to run each class.
Reception, sitting, greeting & information, and choosing materials...
Unexpectedly it took so much time.

１枠目は「かきごおり」で時間が来てしまい、「デジタル数字」は、折り図と写真解説をお持ち帰りいただくことに。
それでも精一杯やりまして。
参加者の方が「楽しかったです」と言ってくださり、胸をなで下ろすのでした…
The first time, I couldn't make only "Shaved ice", and let the participants bring the diagram of "Digital Numbers" to home.
I still did my best...
I was relieved because one said "It was fun".

回を重ねるごとに、３人で協力しながら上手く立ち回れるようになってきました。
「かきごおり」は何枚かの折り紙を束ごと配布。
「デジタル数字」は同じ色を２枚スタンバイ。
後から来た方はトコさん・Keikoさん任せて、私は進行に専念。
などなど、お二人のおかげで、30分の枠を最大限活かすことができました。

As the classes pass away, we became to be able to run smoothly.
"Shaved ice" distribute a bandle of papers.
"Digital Numbers" prepare two same colors in advance.
Toko & Keiko treated the late participants and I concentrated on facilitation.
Thanks to them, I could use 30 min to the limit.

いや、まじ、ほんと
アシストありがとうございます。
いつもピン芸人ですので、連携プレーの素晴らしさを実感しています。
とっても貴重な経験です。
I really appreciate to them.
I usually have the class alone, so I'm realized the splendor of team.
And it was so precious experience.

またまた大活躍だったTatsumiさんの「デジタル数字」。

"Digital Numbers" designed by Tatsumi was so popular again.

前回は部分的な写真しかなかったので…
今度こそ、ちゃんと撮れましたよ〜！

Last time I couldn't take photos enough, so I took well!

裏面をうまく作ると「白抜き」になるテクもお伝えしたところ、これまた好評でした。

If making the back side well, hidden white letter appears.
It was also favored..

「家で全種類作る！」と意気込んでいた男の子。
折り紙で、おうち時間を楽しく過ごしてほしいですね。
"I'll make all numbers at home!'"
a boy said. I want them to enjoy origami from now on!

もう一つの目玉が、Keikoさんが作ってくれたおみやげ。
川崎敏和氏「折り紙夢WORLD」より「ひらいたバラ」と、あじさい折りの作品たちです。
一つ一つ丁寧に作られたプレゼント、みんな大喜びでした。

In addition, there were wonderful gifts "Kawasaki rose" and Hydrangea from Keiko.
Everyone was delighted with the masterpiece.

和装のお客様、とってもお似合いです。

Rose just suits with Kimono, beautiful.

「楽しみにしてました」
「すごく参考になった」
「自分には無理と思っていたけど、完成できてよかった」
嬉しいお言葉をたくさんいただき、胸がいっぱいです。
朝早くから色々詰め込んできた甲斐がありました。

"It was fun"
"I learned a lot"
"I thought it's hard for me but I could"
I'm happy to hear their pleasant words.
It was worth preparing many goods in the early morning.

トコさん・Keikoさん、受付スタッフの方にも助けられ、大変学びの多い一日でもありました。

Toko & Keiko and reception staff assisted me, and I learned a lot.

他の催し物もたくさんある中、入念に準備してくださった職員の皆様、この場を借りて御礼申し上げます。楽しかったです！！
I appreciate to the organizer & staffs who held this event, while also running the other program. I enjoyed a lot!

まだまだコロナが明けない世の中ですが、幸いなことに今年は多くの御依頼をいただいております。
2022年も中盤、これからも多くの方に折り紙の魅力をお届けできたら嬉しいです。
今後もよろしくお願いいたします。
It's not still free from COVID, fortunately I have quite a few request this year.
