ウィズ群発頭痛で生活していくのだろうと覚悟はしていたのだが今年に入ってからまだ一度も頭痛が起きていない。頭痛専用アプリがありその頭痛日記（痛みノート)を振り返ってみると昨年１月２６日から３月１７日くらいまでと９月１７日から１１月４日くらいまでの２期間、群発頭痛と奮闘している。頭痛アプリでは気圧のグラフを閲覧できる。頭痛持ちにとって一つの目安となるのが爆弾低気圧の警戒。そのグラフでは赤い枠に爆弾マークが描かれていて分かりやすい。気圧の上昇下降も一目瞭然であるが自分の場合どちらの状況でも頭痛が起きうる傾向にある。今日現在爆弾低気圧警戒に入っている。今のところ自分には異変はない。吐き気も昨日よりおさまっている。以前の傾向をみると吐き気などの不調が出始めた後の一週間後に何かがトリガーとなって頭痛を発症となっている。ほぼ食事やチョコレートやスイーツに含まれる少量のアルコールがトリガーとなっている。ビール党なので思いっきしビールがトリガーとなり夜中に悶え苦しむということもよくあった。昨今は警戒心が強くなり抑制できるようになった。今日の夜から明日にかけて台風が通過するようなので異変が起きないことを祈るしかない。頭痛（ヘッドエイク）というとピクシーズのブラック・フランシスがフランク・ブラック名義でリリースした２枚目のソロアルバム「Teenager of the Year」(1994) を久しぶりに聴いてみた。このアルバムは２２曲入りでボリューミーでヴァラエティに富んでいてかなり好きでリイシューレコードも購入した。Speedy Marieは何か泣ける。The Vanishing Spiesも沁みる。ピクシーズは好きだけどフランク・ブラックのソロは聴かないという人もいるかもしれないですが未聴だったらオススメです。

My Struggle with Cluster Headaches (2) [Trigger]

I was prepared to live with cluster headaches, but I haven't had a single headache since the beginning of this year. I have an app dedicated to headaches, and looking back at my headache diary (pain notebook), I've been struggling with cluster headaches for two periods last year: from January 26 to March 17, and from September 17 to November 4. In the headache app, you can view a graph of air pressure. One indication for headache sufferers is to be on the lookout for a bomb cyclone. In that graph, the bomb symbol is drawn in a red frame for easy understanding. It also shows the rise and fall of atmospheric pressure at a glance, but in my case, I tend to get headaches in both situations. As of today, I'm on bomb alert. So far, I haven't felt anything unusual. The nausea has subsided since yesterday. In the past, I have had a tendency to develop headaches a week after the nausea and other discomforts started, triggered by something. It's almost always triggered by a small amount of alcohol in food or sweets. Since I am a beer drinker, I used to suffer in agony in the middle of the night, triggered by beer. Now I'm more alert and can control it. A typhoon is expected to pass through this evening and tomorrow, so I can only hope that nothing unusual will happen. Speaking of headaches, I listened to "Teenager of the Year" (1994), the second solo album released by Black Francis of the Pixies under the name Frank Black, for the first time in a while. The album is 22 songs long and has a lot of variety and I like it so much that I bought the reissue. If you like Pixies but not Frank Black's solo music, I recommend you to listen to this album.
