始まるよ、ハレノヒ

時間論をともなう日本人の伝統的な世界観のひとつであるハレとケ。ハレは儀礼や祭、年中行事などの「非日常」、ケは普段の生活である「日常」を表しています。

自分にとっては何の変哲もない今日という日も、誰かにとっては記念日であり、そして特別な日。そう考えると毎日がハレの日であって、全ての人が誰かにとっての特別な存在なのだと思っています。

同じ時間、同じ空間を共有して毎日を過ごしているにも関わらず、どうしてあの頃の記憶は特別に感じるんだろう。例えば学生時代のふとした瞬間やお祭りごとでの出来事など、今振り返ってみると、ちょっとした事でも凄く尊い記憶だったように感じます。そこには様々な理由があって、それは人それぞれ違うのかもしれないけれど、きっと”強さ”と”儚さ”があったから今思い出した時に”美しい”記憶として残っているんじゃないかと感じています。

強い想い×儚い存在＝美しい記憶「ハレ」

当時の記憶の中に強く残っている言葉・表情・シュチュエーション、そしてもう戻れないという儚さ。絶対的に無理だと分かっているからこそ追い求めたくなるものってありますよね。そのもどかしさ、美しいままで残しておきたい特別な感情を「ハレ」という言葉で表現した曲が、2月11日にリリースした『ハレノヒ』になります。

異国を思わせるようなメロディと世界観。しかしながら歌詞の中では日本独自の文化でもある四季折々の美しさと、その移り変わりの儚さを表現しています。非日常ながらも、どこか懐かしさや親しさを感じるような”ハレ”の世界を楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。

“祭り”の日から感じられる特別な気持ちや不思議な気持ち、ワクワクするような感情を”MATSURI“の音楽からも感じてもらいたい。そして悩んでいる人や居場所が見つけられない人にとっての”ハレの日”になれるようなアーティストに…。
そんなコンセプトのもとで制作を進めてきたMATSURIが、デビューして1年経った今リリースをした『ハレノヒ』。全国、全世界の方に届くことを祈っています。
