これが自分の中で鳴り響いている状態で、今回のライヴ音源を聴くと、ふしぎなことが起きるかも。
この歌を Eric Andersen と Joni Mitchell のふたりが McCabe's というところ（たぶん米国の Santa Monica, California）で唄うのだが、途中からジョニが入ってくる前から、そこにジョニがいることが〈雰囲気として〉感じられるのだ。音としては何も聞こえないにもかかわらず。
そのあと、実際にジョニも唄い始める。歌の途中で、ゾクゾクとする。こんな音源があったとは！
ジョニはエリックの 'Blue River' の句が好きで欲しがったそうだが、エリックは断ったそう (^^)
