秋田県小坂町の山深くに湧く八九郎温泉の源泉水が、植物性タンニンと反応して独特の染め色を生み出します。この地域でしかできない、唯一無二の染色法です。

I made tattered cloths for the decoration of the art exhibition. The dyeing for this piece is special.

The source water of Hachikuro- Onsen, which springs deep in the mountains of Kosaka Town, Akita Prefecture, reacts with vegetable tannins to create a unique dyeing technique. This dyeing process is exclusive to this region and cannot be replicated elsewhere.
