こんにちは。元DEVILOOF、現THE DESPERADOのSeiyaです。
リクエストを頂きましたので、DEVILOOFがどのようにして結成したのかを書こうと思います。
｜Hi, I am Seiya, formerly of DEVILOOF and now THE DESPERADO. I am Seiya, formerly of DEVILOOF and currently of THE DESPERADO.
As you requested, I would like to write about how DEVILOOF was formed.

Ryuyaとの出会い｜Meet Ryuya

DEVILOOF初期メンバーで僕が最初に出会ったのはギターのRyuyaでした。
｜The first DEVILOOF member I met was Ryuya, the guitarist.

彼とは、共通の友達である”田村”を通じて知り合いました。
一番初めに会ったのは高校の頃で、田村と一緒にとあるバンドのライブを見に行った時だったと思います。
開演前に会場の近くで遭遇して田村から紹介してもらいました。
当時からピアスが多く、首の穴と耳の穴をチェーンで繋いでいて、第一印象は「やばそうなやつ」でした。
｜I met him through our mutual friend "Tamura".
The first time we met was in high school, when I went to a Deluhi concert with Tamura.
Tamura found me when I was entering the venue and we talked for a while.
He had a lot of piercings, and I thought he looked like a dangerous guy because he had chains around his neck and ears.

それから特に彼と交流はなく、高校を卒業しました。
僕は大学に進学し、彼と田村はESP系列のギターの専門学校に入学します。
｜Then I graduated from high school without any interaction with him.
I went on to college, and he and Tamura entered a guitar school affiliated with ESP.

僕は大学時代にNOCTURNAL BLOODLUST(ノクブラ)というバンドをYoutubeで知り、
ハマりかけていたところで彼がCDを持っていることを知って借りることになりました。
それがきっかけで音楽の趣味が合うことや家が近いことを知り、頻繁に2人で会うようになりました。
｜When I was in college, I discovered the band NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST(Nokubura) on Youtube,
When I was about to get hooked on the band, I found out that he had their CD and decided to borrow it.
We started to meet frequently because we found out that we had the same taste in music and that we lived close to each other.

ノクブラがツアーで大阪に来た時に2人で足を運んだこともありました。
また彼は音源マニアだったので、ノクブラ以外のバンドを教えてもらったり、CDを借りることもよくありました。
｜When Nokubura came to Osaka on tour, the two of us would visit them together.
He was also a sound source fanatic, so I often asked him to show me bands other than Noqubra and borrow CDs from him.

次第に「俺たちもノクブラのようにV系でメタルコアやデスコアのような音楽をやりたい」と
思うようになり、インターネットでメンバーを探し始めました。
｜We started to think, "We want to play V-kei music like metalcore and deathcore like Nokubura.
We started looking for members on the Internet.

ノクブラがいなかったら彼とバンドをしていなかったかもしれません。
｜If it weren't for Nokubura, I might not have been in a band with him.
