Hiroto率いるメタル軍団3人と我々2人は会うことになりましたが、
それから話はこじれ、メタル軍団の仲間のギタリストも加入したいという話になり
トリプルギターでいこうという話になって進んでしました。
｜Three metalheads led by Hiroto and two of us were to meet, Then things got complicated and a fellow guitarist from the Metalheads wanted to join the band. We then discussed the idea of a triple-guitar band.

そして初のスタジオの日、メタル軍団の前身バンドでサポートをしていたギタリストも引き連れ
計7人で音合わせをしました。
｜Then, on our first studio day, we brought along a guitarist who had supported them in their previous band, and a total of seven of us set up the sound.

曲は僕が作っていた曲でのちにアルバム「Devil's Proof」にも収録された"EGOIST"と、
彼らの前身バンドの曲の2曲でした。
実は"EGOIST"は結成段階で完成していました。
｜The songs were "EGOIST," a song I had written and later included on the "Devil's Proof" album, and two songs from their former band, which later appeared on the album "Devil's Proof", and a song from their predecessor band.
Actually, "EGOIST" was completed during the formation stage.

正式に「バンドを組もう」と意思確認したのはいつだったか覚えていません。
確かその音合わせが終わった後だと思います。
｜I don't remember when we officially confirmed our intention to form a band.
I think it was after that meeting.

僕ら二人はツインギターでしたいと思っていましたが、もう一人入りたいということで
少しごねましたが最終的には渋々OKしました。
｜We wanted to have twin guitars, so when they asked for another guitarist to join the band, we were a bit stubborn, but in the end we reluctantly agreed.

そしてアーティスト写真が必要ということで、インターネットでカメラマンを探し、
Keisukeの知り合いのメイクさんに声をかけて神戸のスタジオに撮影へ行きました。
｜Then, we needed artist photos, so we searched for a photographer on the Internet, Keisuke asked a makeup artist he knew and we went to a studio in Kobe.

今思うと調査不足だったのですが、そのカメラマンは一流ではありませんでした。
撮ってもらった写真を見て「これで上手くいくかな…」と不安になる仕上がりでした。
｜In hindsight, I did not do enough research, but the photographer was not top-notch.
When I looked at the pictures he took, I was worried about the outcome, wondering if they would turn out well....

その後、僕とRyuya君で話し合いました。
もう一人のギタリストの容姿はあまりにもV系からかけ離れており、
撮影前は「メイクしたらそれらしくなるだろう」と思っていましたがそうはならなかったので、
彼らに「やっぱりツインギターで活動したい」と伝えました。
｜After that, Ryuya and I had a discussion.
The other guitarist's appearance was too far from V-kei, Before the shoot, I thought, "If he wears makeup, he will look like that," but it didn't turn out that way, so I told them that I wanted to work as a twin-guitar group.

しっかり理由を説明すると彼らは承諾してくれました。
その後、ちゃんとしたカメラマンを紹介してもらいアーティスト写真を撮りなおしました。
｜When I firmly explained the reason, they agreed.
After that, they introduced me to a decent photographer and we re-took the artist photos.

それがDeviloofの1枚目のアーティスト写真になりました。
｜That became Deviloof's first artist photo.
