別名「白い館」。私の大好きな、ザ・モダニズム建築。昭和の東京オリンピックの最中に建てられた、ビラシリーズの第一号。日本の元祖デザイナーズマンションと呼ばれている。攻めたデザインで、キューブを積んだようなデザインと螺旋階段が、どの角度から切り取っても近未来的な造形でかっこいい。現役ビルとして衰えず、住居やオフィスとして使われている。

Also known as "White Pavilion". My favorite, The Modernism architecture. The first of the Villa series, built during the Tokyo Olympics in the Showa period. It is called the original designer's condominium in Japan. The aggressive design, with its stacked cubes and spiral staircase, is cool and futuristic in form no matter what angle you cut it from. The building has not declined as an active building and is used as a residence and office.
