(Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Our theme scripture is beautifully rendered as “And I tell you, you are Peter and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it (or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it)” in the Amplified version of the Bible. This means that no amount of evil power from hell is permitted to destroy you, your Christian life, your commitment to God, and all that relates to you.
私たちのテーマ聖句は、アンプリファイド版聖書では「あなたがたに告げよう、あなたがたはペテロであり、この岩の上にわたしの教会を建てよう。これは、地獄からのどんな邪悪な力も、あなた、あなたのクリスチャン生活、神への献身、そしてあなたに関わるすべてのものを破壊することは許されないということです。

Though Peter was the one who was being addressed in our theme Scripture, we can also extend the meaning to us. We are the ones called to build the church of Christ and no power from hell can stop us.

Remember, the Rock of all Rocks is the LORD JESUS CHRIST himself, and on His solidity are we to build His church. The Jesus Christ you have believed in is so solid that anyone who falls on him shall be broken but on whomsoever He falls, would be grounded to powder (Matthew 21:44).
すべての岩の岩は主イエス・キリストご自身であり、私たちはその堅固な岩の上に教会を建てるのだということを忘れないでください。あなたが信じたイエス・キリストはとても堅固で、彼の上に倒れる者はだれでも砕かれるが、彼が倒れる者はだれでも粉々に砕かれる（マタイ21：44）。

Charge in prayer and declare that the powers of hell cannot prevail against you any longer. Add that by your prayers, your Lord, Jesus Christ grinds anyone who has become a stumbling block in your life into powder. Hallelujah!
祈りの中で、地獄の力がもはやあなたに勝つことはできないと宣言しなさい。あなたの祈りによって、あなたの主、イエス・キリストが、あなたの人生のつまずきとなった者を粉々に砕いてくださることを付け加えてください。ハレルヤ！

Confession: God is building me with His Word as such no force from hell can dominate me. The gates of hell can never prevail against me. I am a new creation. I am called to reign with Christ so anyone who poses as a stumbling block to my progress is grounded into powder today. Hallelujah!
