京さんは誕生日のお祝いなど好きじゃないですが、彼の誕生日一緒に過ごせて良かったです。昔のDir en greyのライブでステージ上にケーキが運ばれてきたことがありましたが、もうそういうのはしないみたいですね。先生、この1年は満足や成功、そして自分のアートをもっと深く追いかけられるように願っています。

Even though Kyo isn't really into celebrating his birthday, I am still happy we could spend the evening with him. In the early days of Dir en grey, they would bring cakes out on stage, but I guess that wouldn't happen today. Kyo, I hope this next year brings you self satisfaction, success, and allows you to pursue your art even more. 

sukekiyoのライブでは「あ、そういう風にやるのか！」と、音がどのように作られているかが目の前で見えるので、すごく面白いです。ステージはいつも楽器や部品でいっぱいですが、京さんのダンスや、匠さんがYUCHIさんの前にやって来ることを妨げるほどではありません。そしてライブの雰囲気、観客が一緒に歌うこと、叫ぶことや音を出すことを自在にコントロールする様は、まるで神のようです。私達はただの傀儡ですね。

Watching sukekiyo is always interesting because as you watch, you realize, "Oh! that's how that sound is made!". The stage is always crowded with all their equipment, but that doesn't stop Kyo from dancing around or Takumi from coming up front to join Yuchi. But it's not just their vast array of musical talent or the atmosphere of the concert. Their ability to keep the audience from making a sound / getting them to yell out and sing along is almost godlike. We are their puppets.  

ライブが始まる前、私たちは皆赤坂Blitzに突入し、良い場所を必死に探しました。今回、いつもと違いステージの少し近くに立ったのですが、後ろから「ちょっと見えないね」と文句する声が聞こえました。本当にすみません。僕の後ろになってしまい、本当にアンラッキーでした。

Before it began, we all rushed into Akasaka Blitz to find a spot to stand. This time I stood a little closer to the stage than usual, but I heard people behind me complaining that they couldn't see. Sorry about that. Standing behind me is pretty unlucky. 

BGMは結構古いポップな感じでした。もしかして最近海外で流行っているシティーポップでしょうか？興味があり少し耳を傾けていると、ライブハウスが暗くなりバンドがステージ上に出ました。最初はほとんどインストルメンタルの新し尾曲でした。京さんは歌う代わりに、息がそのまま音になる楽器を用いていました。あんな楽器、見たことないです。面白かった！

The BGM before the show started seemed to be old pop music. Perhaps city pop? Just as I was getting into it, the lights turned off and the band came on stage. The first song was a new, mostly instrumental song. Instead of singing, Kyo used some instrument that creates a distorted sound with his breath. I had never seen anything like it. It was really cool!

他の目立つ部分は「沙羅螺」の激しいブレーキダウンや４個の新曲やYUCHIさんのドラムのような楽器の響き（曲を思い出せないけど「接触」だったかもしれない）や、予定になかったアンコールでした。ライブが終わって電気が付いた時、観客は動き出したりせずに、ひたすら拍手喝さいでした。

Other standout points in the show were the heavy breakdown in「沙羅螺」, hearing a total of 4 new tracks, Yuchi banging on some form of drum (I can't remember in which song, but maybe「接触」),  and the encore! Actually, the encore wasn't planned. When the show was over and the lights came on, the audience just stood there clapping and clapping and clapping. 

最終的に、彼らはステージに戻ってきました。緊張した様子で、京さんが「帰させないね」と言い、困った様子で「へへへ」と笑いました。彼の本音が漏れたMCはすごく珍しく、とても特別な感じがしました。何も準備していなかった様子で、何しようと考えた挙句、観客に「暴れたいですか？」と聞きました。匠さんと確認して「こうも違うモノなのか、要するに」をやりました。京さんの叫びに連なり、ライブは再び盛り上がりました！しかし、曲が終わったら京さんが「僕のイメジと違うので、謝りでもう一曲やるね」と言い、「あ、どうしよう、どうしよう。じゃ、「猥雑」」。2回目はメンバーがすごく楽しそうで最高でした！

Eventually they came back on stage. Nervously, Kyo said "I was hoping you'd let me leave", followed by a super awkward "heh heh". It's rare for Kyo to do an MC where his true self shows, so this was very special. When confronted with not having anything planned, he asked the audience, "do you want to go wild?". After confirming with Takumi, they played 「こうも違うモノなのか、要するに」. With Kyo's taunts, the audience became super enegeric! But after, he said that wasn't the image he had in mind, so to apologize they'd do one more song. How about 「猥雑」? Hearing this song for the second time in one night was intense!!! The band really looked like they enjoyed it, even more than the first time. 

ライブに行けてよかったです。チケット先行はあまり当たらないので、ファンのコミュニティがあって助かります。本当にありがとうございます！

I am really happy I was able to go to this concert. Sometimes getting tickets can be hard, so I am really grateful that there is a community of fans willing to help each other. Thank you so much!
