#01 invisible challenge

The earth is watched even this moment for a chance to get by evil INVADE aliens.

Is life long or not?  
Some say yes and some say no.
Some live hard and some die hard.
Some are killed and some are killing.
Some are saved and some are saving.
Smoking is said to cause cancer.
But some die soon and some live long.
What is life?
Isn't nothing else so important as life?
If so, why on earth does war happen?
Which is a fool, humans or aliens?
And who judges?

Aliens COOL are similar to humans Earth from the viewpoint of culture and civilization.
Indeed, there are both war and peace on their planet, but they enjoy their lives as humans do.
Except for one.

One night, driving home,a young man is stopped by a policeman.
The young man imagines his misfortune because he has just drunken.
He has to follow the officer and give up his job.
"It would have been OK a few years ago."
However, when the businessman tries to hand in his license, the cop suddenly disappears like a ghost, and in turn so does the driver.
Moreover, a lot of people all ages and all genders have gone into hiding one after another.

These series of queer incidents are above the police, the investigation of which has been requested as the last resort to Professor KIRIYA, T University.
KIRIYA, who specializes in weird phenomena, has already started the research on his own.
Also, he has selected five researchers as his assistants from The Youth, the advisor of which is of course KIRIYA.
The Youth is a circle of investigating TOKOTON (thoroughly) the relations between weird phenomena and humans from scientific viewpoints.
Its name stands for 'YOU and the earTH.'
The members are made up of graduates and students with excellent results, FURUDA, AMABE, SOMA, YURI, and MOROBOSHI.

FURUDA and SOMA on yellow VW Beetle are patrolling around the area, then one young man in red jumper stands in their way with his arms open.
He says, "Never go ahead from here, SENPAI!"
"SENPAI?  Who on earth are you?"
"I'm MOROBOSHI, Dan MOROBOSHI.  A senior of T University.  And the only member now of The Youth."
"Why should you MOROBOSHI prevent us?"
"To save you, your life, SENPAI."
"Life?  Life is not dear to us."
That moment, one police patrol car passes ahead with a siren wailing.
"No!  Never go ahead!"
The car ignores him, moves on and also disappears hit by a weird beam.

Two members put the young guy in yellow Beetle and return to their secret hideout at the base of Mt Takao.
There the other members has been waiting for them.
YURI says to MOROBOSHI, "Thank you very much for saving them.  I'd love to give you something as  our gratitude."
She asks him what he wants. 
MOROBOSHI says, "EARTH."
YURI smiles and says, "I'll give you the beautiful blue Earth with all my heart."

At that time, alien COOL comes into the monitor screen (probably all over the Earth).
🧊This is alien COOL speaking.  We are very sorry,  but we have decided to invade the Earth.  To tell the truth, we would not like to do such a thing.  We have lived until now just as you humans have.  After a certain day, however, an incurable disease began to prevail all over the planet.  As a result, as time goes by, our lifespan is becoming shorter and shorter.  Now it has reduced to about thirty years.  Recently we have found that human bodies can make us live longer.  If the trend continues, we would become extinct one day.  So please understand it cannot be helped.  And surrender totally, or we will start to attack.  We have no time.🧊

As soon as the government says no, K industrial zone are attacked and destroyed.
Alien COOL disappears from the monitor , repeating, "You cannot find us, because we are invisible.  Please give up to save us, or we would blow up TOKIO.  We do not like war."

"They are so eager to survive that they have to attack, I know.  But we have to save the Earth, you know," KIRIYA goes on, "It's a pity that we have no more time for discussion.  Let's say no to survive." 
YURI says, "MOROBOSHI kun, your EARTH is in a great pinch.  Any good idea against this invisible challenge?"
DAN suggests that they paint the invisible challenger by using a special atomizer.
ET radar developed by AMABE has enabled them to identify the rough place where the alien is staying.
The atmizer equipped on their Beetle has made the invisible invader completely visible.
It is a spaceship camouflaged as a delivery truck, the side bodies of which says "COOL DELIVERY SERVICE."
It is keeping human collections frozen. 

The moment, their Beetle is attaced, and the electric shock the members has fainted.
While DAN is saving them, he has his avatar MICRA fight with the ememy, but MICRA has a hard fight.

Then, DAN puts on his red glasses, which only allows him to have supernatural ULTRA power.
He runs after the truck at full speed and goes into a warehouse which is the mother ship, where many similar delivery trucks are parked.
In the darkness, he feels himself surrounded by ten aliens COOL, which are floating MYSTERIOUSLY like spiders.
He has one deep breath, slowly puts his hands together right on the top of his head, and swings them down in a flash.
The invisible knife of light split ten aliens COOL in two at a lightning moment.
So, the battle has come to the end within a second.

Saving the people caught and collected in the COOL containers on spaceship trucks, he destroys the mothership all by himself.
(Was this battle right or not?  They were desperate to live, and so are we.  Even though life is more important than anything else, it is not good to take others' life in order to live.  Ah, the more I think about that, the uneasier I feel.) 

After the problem solved, Professor KIRIYA introduces MOROBOSHI to the other members.
"Yoroshikune, MOROBOSHI kun," YURI smiles at him.
The Youth has gathered round now.
They are to face a lot of curious incidents all together.
