若者を育てず、中抜きばかりした国の末路🥲
釘が一本足りなかったために蹄鉄が失われ
蹄鉄が一つ足りなかったためにウマを用意できず
ウマが一頭足りなかったために騎手が乗れず
騎手が一人足りなかったために戦に負け
戦一つに負けたために王国が滅びた。
それというのも蹄鉄にたった一本の釘が足りなかったためだ。
For want of a nail the shoe was lost,
For want of a shoe the horse was lost,
For want of a horse the rider was lost,
For want of a rider the battle was lost,
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost,
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
