それをためておくことは出来ないから

For that it shines on us and show us the way

でも愛は電気ではない
それは一瞬だけかけめぐるものではないから
Yet love is not electricity,
Because it doesn't happen instantly

でも愛は水ではない
それはためておくことは出来ないから
Yet love is not water,
Because it cannot be stored

でも愛は植物ではない
それは私たちにとって無力ではないから
Yet love is not a plant,
Because it is not powerless to us

でも愛は光ではない
それを求めることは、私たちを闇に落とすこともあるから
Yet love is not light,
Because we can fall into dark seeking for it

与える愛ともらう愛、どちらがよいか考えた。
Which is better, to love or to be loved?

それはためておくことができず、
私たちはそれを常に必要とすることを考えると、
私は愛する方がよいと考えた。
Given that it cannot be stored,
And that we need it at any moment,
Perhaps it is better to seek to love, than to be loved 

愛することは、
私の中で愛を作り出すことだから
光合成の植物のように
Because by loving,
We can supply love within ourselves 
Like photosynthesis

そうなれば不足することはない
光合成の植物のように
Then we will not run short of it
Just like photosynthesis
