今日は支援内容の紹介と、避難所について書きたいと思います。
What does the shelter we support look like now? Here is an update on our project! 

以前紹介したように、7/11までに集まった寄付で冷蔵庫を２台届けています。（その様子はこちらから）
Thanks to your donations, we successfully delivered 2 refrigerators by July 11 (check our previous article here).

それに加えて
・7/22 洗濯機１台・トイレ２つ
・7/30 冷蔵庫２台
を避難所に届けました！
 Using the second and third batch of donations, we purchased  1 washing machine, 2 toilets on July 22, and additional 2 refrigerators on July 30.
But why did we deliver 4 refrigerators in total? What does the shelter look like?

以前支援先の避難所について紹介しましたが、ウクライナにいるパウロより、同避難所が取材された動画を受け取ったので紹介したいと思います！

ここには約150人の国内避難民が暮らしています。5階建の建物では、各階に30人ほどが生活し、それぞれの階にキッチンが2つ、トイレが4つあります。The shelter we support accommodates 150 internally displaced persons. This is a five-story building, and each floor has 2 kitchens and 4 toilets.

当初、この建物は使用されなくなった学校の寮でした。この場所で国内避難民が共同生活をするために、暖房と水道のシステムは自治体の予算で改良されました。
This building was initially an unused school dormitory. In order to use this building as a shelter, the heating and water system in the building were repaired with the local government budget.

学校の先生や地域ボランティアが協力し、修繕や掃除をしたりベットやマットレス、シーツなどを集めたりしました。
School teachers and local volunteers cleaned the building, renovated the place, and collected necessary items such as beds, mattresses, bed sheets, etc.

避難所に滞在している人々の食事については、当初は近所の学校やカフェなどで提供していましたが、現在はWorld Central KitchenというNGOを通じて食事を提供しています。
The people who live in this shelter initially received meals at local schools and cafes, and currently, the World Central Kitchen (NGO) provides meals.

ロシア軍の侵攻開始後、フメルニツキー州シェペティベカには、5,000人近くの人が移住してきました。短期滞在をした人は10,000人近くいます。
After the Russian military invasion, approximately 5,000 people moved into Shepetivka in Khmelnytsky Oblast. The number of people who temporarily evacuated to the city has been estimated at around 10,000.

パウロによると、現在この避難所にいる人たちには帰れる場所がない人も多く、ここから新たな生活を始めようとしているようです。
Since many of these evacuees don't have a place to go back to, this shelter serves as a new home for them. Some are determined to start a new life here.

今後避難所で必要なものとして、避難民からは追加の「トイレ」と聞いています。
各階にあるトイレは、6年ほど前に学生寮としての利用を終了してから、便座や便器を取り外して使えなくなっているものがあり、新しいトイレが必要になっています。
The following items they need are toilets. The building is very old and several restrooms are damaged and remained unused. In response to their situation, we plan to cover the cost of installing new toilets soon.
