想像力はあらゆる場面で活用されます。事業を作る上でも、創作時も、誰かと話している時も、noteを書いている今も。

この想像力を育むために想像会と題して、毎週日曜日は何か作品に対して、どんな想いが込めれられているのか、見ている（聞いている）人に対してどんなメッセージが込められているのかを解析してきます。

初回は、一ファンでもあり、一尊敬する人たちでもある世界を舞台に戦い続けている『ONE OK ROCK』の新曲の『Eye of the Storm』という曲を解析していきます。

私自身、実は英語はわからないので下のサイトを参考に見ていきます。

この歌を要約すると、
偉大な夢/目標を追っている人が今苦しくて、その夢を諦めようとしている。そこにもう一人の人が「そこでやめてはいけない。希望はある。この苦しさを乗り越えた先に君の目指しているものがあるんだから。その夢があなたを動かすよ。」と言ってるような景色が見えます。

これをONE OK ROCKは、

苦しいとき＝台風
希望＝台風の目

と比喩して表現しています。
故にタイトルが『Eye of the Storm』なんですね。

このことから伝えたいメッセージは、
夢を持っている人たちに、「夢を追うことをやめてはいけない」と台風という比喩を使って、激伝してるように感じます。

また、ONE OK ROCKの曲は世界に向けて発信しているので、英語がほとんどですが、その中に少なからず日本語が紛れ込んでいます。これは個人的な見解ですが、日本語を入れることで、「ここのメッセージは日本の人にも伝わって欲しい！」という想いが汲みとれると思います。

そのことから、この２行にこの曲で伝えたいことが凝縮しているようにも感じれられます。
暗い嵐の中、自分は岸の塀にいて、風に追いやられながらも微かな光が見えて、その光の先に光り輝く島が見えるようなことがイメージできます。

実際、ONE OK ROCKは世界を舞台に戦い続けるその姿に、力/勇気づけられています。このまま希望を持ち続け、走っていきたいと思います。
