伯爵に教わったルートの途中には野世衣(やよい)や宗真(そうま)が住んでいた様な大きな森があり、
フクロウの一族が暮らしていた。

その知識量は凄まじく大賢者ともなると、この世界のありとあらゆるデータを蓄積しているとか。

けれど知識を知るのはそれに見合った時期があると言って、謎の全てを解き明かそうとはしてくれない。
この世界の鍵を握っているのは羽根を持つものだと告げ、さらに桜姫の姉はおそらく九鬼(くき)将軍が捕らえていると言う事だけは教えてくれた。

そんな父と私たちの姿を遠くで見ていた千慧(ちえ)は森を去る私に尾羽をそっと差し出した。
全てを知った時にこの尾羽が貴方に力を与えるから、と。
