Never in modern society has a day gone by without us being exposed to the effects of scientific development. Were it not for scientific knowledge, we would have fallen prey to numerous types of infectious diseases such as dengue, malaria and coronaviruses. Given this, I firmly support my stance that it is indispensable for youngsters to learn science. Of the three points mentioned above, advertising and government grants can be contributing factors in stimulating young people to study science.

As far as advertising is concerned, due to the fact that almost all public spaces are flooded with advertisements, it can serve as an effective tool to boost youngsters' motivation for learning science. For instance, as public appearance of prominent scientific experts on numerous types of advertisements increases, there can be more transformative changes in young people's interest in science. In recent society, young people have a tendency to gain information on what is happening in society through the use of social media platforms, potentially increasing exposure to wide variety of advertising. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that there is every probability that youngsters consider science as permanent fixture in their lives if advertisements featuring scientific field frequently emerges on social media.

In terms of government grants, the tendency of national governments to make little financial contribution to scientific matters means that they always attach less importance to science. Owing to this problem, scientific endeavor is not commensurate with financial remuneration despite the fact that scientific work entails a significant amount of time and effort. It can also be said that such a governmental system can be one of the main causes of youngsters being unwilling to major in scientific fields because they are eager to earn enough money. In light of these situations, with adequate financial incentives for scientific field, it is safe to say that more youngsters are not only interested in learning science but also encouraged to work as a scientist.

Of the two factors I mentioned above in this essay, it is my firm belief that government grants must be more effective way of prodding youngsters to learn science. The primary reason to corroborate my stance is that youngsters have been more interested in increasing financial remuneration given the current economic recession. If governments contemplate on the mechanisms by which scientific work is  directly proportional to financial incentives, more promising youngsters are inspired to study science.
