さて、日々淡々と日記を書いているんですが、全ての出来事を書き残せているわけではありません。
Well...I write my diary daily, but that doesn't mean I'm able to write down everything that happens.

それは無関心で小さな出来事だからではなく、文章を書くうえでの都合上、やむを得ず削除しています。
It's not because it's an indifferent, small event.
Due to writing convenience, I have been forced to delete it.

それでも私が旅中に経験した事実として、忘れてはならないだろうと思った事を今、以下に記しておこうと思います。
However, I would like to write down below some of the experiences I had during my trip that I feel should not be forgotten.

One day question

「日本人は自分の国に2回も原爆を落とされたのに、何故アメリカを慕うんだ？説明してくれ」
"Why do the Japanese people love America even though they have had two atomic bombs dropped on their country? Please explain."

「日本の若者はロシアが日本に原爆を落としたと信じてると聞いたが、それは本当なのか？」
”I heard that young people in Japan believe that Russia dropped the atomic bomb on Japan. Is that true?”

耳にした会話
A conversation I overheard

「日本は原発事故を起こした汚染国だ。太平洋を汚した罪は重い。そしてその海の魚を食べている日本人は頭がおかしい」
"Japan is a polluting country that caused a nuclear accident. Its crime of polluting the Pacific Ocean is grave. And the Japanese who eat fish from that ocean are crazy."

これらについての感想や応答をここに書くつもりはありません。しかし、こういった認識が有るという事を忘れてはいけないと思います。
I don't intend to write my thoughts or responses to these issues here, but I think we should not forget that these issues exist.

久々の英文投稿が重たい話題になってしまいました。
次は明るい事を書きたいと思います。
This is my first English post in a while and it has turned into a serious topic.
Next I would like to write about something positive.
