Okay, so let's move on to today's episode. In today's episode, I would like to consider how to reply to the comments I received. Recently, I have received several comments on this podcast (Thank you so much! It motivates me to continue this podcast!)
The comments might be really good for engaging listeners to share their thoughts or ideas. However, I was struggling a bit with how to share it and how to collect all the comments I received.  So, in this episode, I will talk about the history of replying to comments in this podcast. Then, my struggles regarding the comments will be provided. Finally, I will talk about some ideas to sort it out. Hope you enjoy it!
 
では今日の本題に入っていきたいと思います。
今日のエピソードではこのポッドキャストにいただくコメントにどう返信したら良いかについてお話します。

最近、このpodcastにコメントを残してくださる方が増えてきました。
（ありがとうございます！！更新の励みになっています。）
この、いただいたコメントをシェアすることって他のリスナーさんにもためにもなるんじゃないかなって思っているんです。
ただ、それについて2つ悩みが出てきました。
・どうやってシェアをしたらいいかと、
・どうやってすべてのコメントを集めたらいいかで悩んでいます。
（こちらの悩みは後ほど詳しくお話ししますね）

そんなわけでこのエピソードでは、
1）悩みのバックグラウンドとしてこのpodcastへのコメント返しの歴史
2）私のコメントに関する悩み
3）最後にこうしたらいいのか？と思う提案についてお話をさせていただきます。

Okay, so let's start with the history of these comments and replies in this podcast.
 
この悩みのバックグラウンドとして、
podcastでのコメント返しの歴史についてお話をさせていただきます。
 
I used to reply to these comments that I received through podcast episodes.
However, there is an issue.
That is, some platforms do not have comment functions such as Apple Podcasts. Also, this podcast is broadcasted through several platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Note Platform, and so on. I usually use Spotify for podcasters to upload podcast episodes, which makes it quite easy to follow the analytics on Spotify and check the comments I receive. Also, I checked the Note platform on which I usually upload this podcast's transcription in both English and Japanese.
So, I could check the comments easily, however,  I could not check the comments on all platforms when I uploaded the episodes. 

以前は、このpodcastにいただいたコメントはpodcastのエピソード内でコメント返しをさせていただいていました。
ただ、うーんと思うところがあったんですよね。
というのは、ポッドキャストを聞くプラットフォームって
コメントを残す機能がないプラットフォームと、
コメントが書けるプラットフォームがあるんです。

コメントを残す機能がないプラットフォームは、例えばApple Podcast などですね。（レビュー機能はあるんですけど）

しかも、私は、このpodcastをいろんなプラットフォームで配信できるように設定しているんですね。
例えばSpotify、Apple Podcast、 Google Podcast 、あとNoteというBlogプラットフォームですね。

ちなみに、このpodcastはSpotifyのPodcast配信用アプリを使っているので、もちろんSpotifyのコメントは比較的簡単にチェックができます。
後は文字起こしをノートというBlog SNSに載せていますのでそこのコメントも比較的チェックしやすいですね。
ただ、全てのプラットフォームのコメントが一つに吸い上げられないようになっているんですよね。

However, it is quite tricky for me to follow all comments on all platforms. In addition, I felt it was unfair to reply only to the comments that I could check. So I quit replying to the comments through this podcast episode. 
Fairness is quite tricky actually, as I was not sure which platform I should choose as a hub platform.

すべてのプラットフォームで皆様が平等にコメントを残せる環境では今ないんですね。
これは公平とは言えないですよねぇ。
聞いてくださる皆さんが同じような環境になるようにと考えて、
一度コメント返しを辞めたんですよ。
公平性を考えると非常に難しい問題なんですよねぇ。
どのプラットフォームをメインにするかという問題にもなってくるんですよねぇ。むじゅかしい。。。となっているところです。

In order to gather the comments from several platforms, I was wondering if I could create a Google form link with which you are able to create a questionnaire easily and I could check it through the Google function.
It is quite good for me to use Google Forms as I could collect the information from several platforms at once.

ここからは考えてみた対応策についてお話ししてきます。
いろんなプラットフォームから一気にコメントを集めるために、アンケートフォームのようなものをGoogleで作ろうかと思っています。
Googleフォームからコメントをいただければ、1つに集約できるので 私にとってはありがたいなぁと思っています。
 

However, it would be a hassle from the listener's perspective as you need to tap the link and go to the questionnaire, then finally leave comments. It is too much of a process.
Hmmmm… So I am kinda stuck.

ただ、リスナーのみなさんたちの立場で考えてみると
コメントを残すのにわざわざリンクに行って→アンケートフォームに記入して→そしてコメントがやっと残るというのは、ちょっと手順が多すぎるかなぁと思っています。難しいですね。どうしたらいいんでしょう、、、

The other idea might be once a month I will do a Q&A session and reply to comments using the Q&A feature on, for example, Instagram or Google Forms.
他に思いついたのは、インスタグラム Q＆A機能やGoogleのアンケートフォームなどの機能を使って、質問コーナーを設けるのもいいのかなと思っています。
そこでコメントも募集するといいますか。
 
I mean, I just create "Ask me anything / leave me your comments" on those platforms at the end of every month and try to reply to the Q&A or comments at the beginning of the next month. Yeah, but this one is also several steps… Hmmm, it is quite tricky. 

もう少し詳しく説明すると月一コメントQ＆Aコーナーを設けたらどうかなぁと思っています。
1）Q&Aのリンクを月に一回月末などに解放して、そこにコメントや質問などを書いていただく。
2）月初にそのお答えやコメント返信の回を設けるなどですかねぇ。
毎月恒例のコーナーにするといいますか。
でも、これも結局手順が減らせていないんですよねぇ。あーむずかしい。
