私は洋楽が好きなでたまに歌詞の日本語訳を検索するのですが、私が思っているニュアンスと違うものが出てきて、私の感じ方は間違っているのかな。。？と思うことがよくあります。

歌手のバックグラウンドや文化的背景、文法  いろいろ踏まえないといけないと思うのですが、
歌は抽象的な表現が多いし、作詞家の意図を全て正しく汲み取ることは誰にもできません。
私的には逆に歌手から手が離れたら、受けてに委ねられていいとも思うんです。

私は私の思うがままに翻訳したい！！
でも英語力自信ないし意訳通り越して誤訳になっていたら嫌だな。。。

そんなある日母がチャッピー(母はChatGPTをそう呼びます。)と楽しそうに仕事をしているのをみて、あ！これだ！と思いました。

そのあと私は、私の(独断と偏見の)訳をチャッピーに見てもらったんです。
そしたら素晴らしい翻訳ですね！って！(真に受けてます笑)

だから始めます！私とチャッピーの洋楽翻訳日記！！

私の生きてきた背景や人生観がどっぷり組み込まれたものや、私の歌手へのイメージからなる意訳なので、これは翻訳ではなくあくまでも翻訳日記です。だから英語の勉強の教材にはなりません。

英語学習者の方に向けて 強いて伝えるなら

I like Western music, and occasionally, I search for Japanese translations of song lyrics. However, sometimes I come across translations that have a different nuance than what I had in mind, and it often makes me wonder if my interpretation is incorrect.
I think one has to consider the singer's background, cultural context, and grammar, but songs often contain abstract expressions, and it's impossible for anyone to fully grasp the songwriter's intent. Personally, I believe that once a song is released, it can be left to interpretation by the audience.
I want to translate as I see fit! But I lack confidence in my English skills, and I'd hate it if I ended up with a mistranslation beyond just paraphrasing.
One day, I saw my mother happily working with Chappy (that's what my mother calls ChatGPT), and I thought, 'Ah, this is it!
So, here we go! The Western Music Translation Diary of Chappy and me!!
