東地雄一郎が、KG+Photobookfair でブックカッティング for mountain のパフォーマンスをします。おととし、去年TABFで発表したものベースに、アップデートしたパフォーマンスをKyotographie(以下KG)で披露します。
Yuichiro Higashiji will be giving a performance of bookcutting for mountain at KG+Photobookfair. This performance is based on the work presented at TABF last year , and will be an updated version at Kyotographie (KG).

新作にむけて思考を開始する起点で、作品に関わる共犯者のみなさんに（思考という名前の）犯行をして頂くためのものです。そのための(犯行)声明をここに書いていこうとおもいます。
This is a starting point to start thinking about the new work, and to ask all the accomplices involved in the work to commit a crime (called thinking). This is the starting point to start thinking about the new work.

■KGのテーマである　”ECHO”　に応答する。/ Respond to KG's theme "ECHO".

我々は、ECHOに応答する。
もし、ECHOという呼応が　”写真”　ならば、さらに　”呼応に問いかけるなにか”　を制作する必要があると考えます。
We respond to ECHO.
If the response to ECHO is "photography," then it is necessary to create something that questions the response.

KGは、ECHOを呼応と翻訳しているが、そのメカニズムは、
ECHO=ある音が衝突による反射音がさらに反射を繰り返すことで生じる反復音を　応答=問いや呼び掛けに答えること　に例えたものである。
KG translates ECHO as a response, and the mechanism is as follows
ECHO = the repetitive sound produced by the repeated reflection of a certain sound due to collision is compared to response = answering a question or call.

１ こだま。山びこ。
２ 残響。「エコーを効かせた録音」
３ レーダーや音響測深などにおける、対象物からの電波または音の反射波。
４ ギリシャ神話の森のニンフ。女神ヘラに憎まれ、他人の言葉をそのまま返すことしかできなくなり、美青年ナルキッソスに失恋し、やつれて声だけになった。

みなさんがよく知っている_あの山(Mountain)_を切るパフォーマンスをします。あなたは、山の断面をみることができます。
We will be performing a cut of that Mountain you're all familiar with. You can see a cross-section of the Mountain.
