悲しい時は
木の側（そば）に立とう
苦しい時は
草の中に座ろう
When in sadness,
stand tall by the side of a tree.
When in distress,
sit down low amid the grass.

木が呼んでいる
石が呼んでいる
流水
行雲
みなことごとく
呼んでいる
Flowers are calling.
Trees are calling.
Stones are calling.
Babbling brooks in the field’s expanse;
wandering clouds in the sky’s expanse;
each and every one of them is calling.
