１４５日目。
今日はまた暑さがぶり返すと聞いていたので朝から先に家事を済ませる。
大きなものを洗濯、シーツを替える。
またオーガニック野菜の詰め合わせを購入したので、とうもろこしを今度は皮を残したまま茹でる。
それからダンデライオン・グリーンを塩茹でしておひたしに。
つまり、タンポポの葉っぱってことかな？
初めて食べるけど苦味があって美味しい。
アイロンかけて、エアコンのフィルターを掃除したらもう暑い。

仕事を少ししてから半身浴。
午後は寝室に引きこもった。

毎年忘れるけれど、日本はお盆なのだった。
それで仕事が少しゆっくりしている。
実家は寿司屋だったので、お盆の概念があんまりない。お盆休みのあるような仕事にもつかなかったし。ゴールデンウィークは毎年気をつけているのにな。

昨夜は久しぶりに屋上で星を見た。
流れ星を二つも見たと思っていたら、ベルセウス座流星群が今ピークなんだそう。
英語ではメテオシャワーというらしい。シャワーってイメージしやすい。

Day 145. 
I knew it would be a hot day, so I finished house work in the morning. 
Changed bed sheets, and did laundry. 
As we got a box from organic farm, I boiled corn on cob, and dandelion greens. I did not know that we can eat them. It's bitter, but good. 
When I finished ironing, and cleaning the filter of AC, it was already hot.

Worked little and had a hot bath. 
Stayed in the bed room in the afternoon.

Every year I forget this, but this time of year is called o-bon in Japan and it is a traditional summer break. Many companies are closed. That's why our business has to slow down also. 
As my parents had a sushi restaurant, they always worked through this holiday, so that's why I am not really familiar with this tradition. 

Last night we went to up to stargazing. We saw few shooting stars. And I found out that the Perseid meteor shower is at its peek on 11th.
