”Three Thousand years of Longing” (a movie 2022)

What would you wish for if one day a Djinn shows up in front of you?
"My husband invited me to watch a movie he thought I would be interested in. The movie had already started when I joined him, but soon I figured out what it was about. I realized that stories are ingrained into human nature and as science progresses, we become more open to topics related to the mysterious, etheric or spiritual. I thought this movie could comfortably lead many people in that direction. In contrast to the many superhero movies we've seen recently, this movie could change the angle of "power".

"Who is more powerful, a Genie or a human?"

A Djinn (Genie) has the power to make wishes come true, with almost no limits. However, the Djinn's destiny is entirely in the master's hands, and sometimes the Djinn must trick or deceive the master to be unleashed from their bounds. At the same time, the Djinn would be oblivious without their master. Humans also use their ego to control their lives, and struggle when there is a gap between desired outcomes and reality. While Djinn are bound by magic, humans are bound by social rules and morals, and the fear of being forgotten is one of our greatest fears. The more one experiences different perspectives, the more forgiving they become. Both Djinn and humans can be freed by unconditional love. In that sense, Djinn are very similar to humans, but on a grander scale."
