#Canvaの「ブックカバー・コンテストに」出してみた。
デザインツール、Canvaでは、毎週なんらかのコンテストがある。私はわざわざコンテストのために何かを創ったことはないけれども、今週のテーマは「ブックカバー」で、ブックカバーだったら沢山創ったから、その中から三点、出してみた。
参加は簡単で、自分の作品に
#CanvaDesignChallenge
というタグを付けて、インスタグラムかツイッターに投稿するだけ。
私が英語で書いた小説をアメリカの小説投稿サイトInkittで連載しています。
今、Part 11が進行中。先生いつもありがとー。

三つの中で、これが一番Canvaっぽい。写真は私が探して来たもので、バックグラウンドのタイダイと、ぐるぐるのアニメーションがCanva。ブックカバーなのに、実は動画なのが私っぽい。
ストーリーの一部をブックカバーに書くという、大胆な試み。
これも女の子の写真と、花の写真は自分で見付けて、Canvaに入っているデザインエレメンツを山のように使いました。気に入っている作品。
『HANKETSU』という小説には、とにかく天使が山のように、ばたばた出て来る。
これはCanvaのアニメの吹き出しを使いました。可愛い♥
このモデルさんはもう何年も使っている。大好き♥
ここでも、ストーリーの一部を表紙に書いている。他にやってる人はいないと思う。
と、いうわけで、アルファベットは面白いのが多いので、ほとんど韓国のものを使っています。Canvaには韓国のフォントがたくさんある。
一つ気になるのが、CanvaにはCanvaの色というか、特徴があって、私のデザインはどう見てもCanvaっぽくない。
その原因は私がCanvaのテンプレートを一度も使ったことがないから。人の創ったデザインを使うのは、非常に難しい。まず、そのデザイナーさんが何を考えてそのデザインを創ったのか考えないといけない。それには膨大な時間が掛かるから、自分で一からデザインした方がずっと速い。
ワードでもパワーポイントでもテンプレートを使ったことがない。
Canvaは使い方が簡単なので、色々いじってみて、自分らしい表現を発見してみてください。

Kevin was in Akihabara with his father, his wife and Luna. They hired four cabs to put in the dresses that the two women had purchased at the cosplay store. Kevin was helping to load their purchases with two hardcore looking bodyguards in black tuxedos.
Suddenly, an angel dressed in a 60s era pink Playboy playmate costume complete with bunny ears, a bullet bra, black bow-tie and cottontail, zipped by Kevin. The outfit looked perfect except for one modification – the iconic one-piece high-leg costume was now in two pieces with the bottom part identical to the hanketsu bikini bottoms that Luna had bought. She took out a pocket watch (where she kept it is still a mystery) and muttered to herself, “Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!” as if she were the White Rabbit in a soft-core porn version of the children's classic Alice in Wonderland. Kevin chased her only to see her hanketsu ass as it disappeared down a hole, what seemed to be a large rabbit-hole, in the center of the main street in Akihabara.
Kevin dove in and tumbled after her. He floated down weightlessly. Down down through darkness for a very long time. Suddenly he stopped floating and then, as if emerging from sleep, he rubbed his eyes and found himself in an airplane in a big, soft first-class seat preparing for takeoff.
