韓国の朝鮮の歴史は、2度の大きな侵略を受けた。 日本軍が侵攻した壬辰倭乱（文禄·慶長の役）とともに中国の女真族が作った「金」（清）の侵攻を受けた丙子胡乱だ。
そのうち、丙子胡乱の歴史は現代の韓国の政治状況と非常に類似しており、丙子胡乱という歴史を通じて韓国の進むべき道を参考にしなければならない。
丙子胡乱の時、韓国は斥邪派と朱花派に分かれていた。 現在の与党と野党に似ている。 斥邪派は金が成長しているが、壬辰倭乱の時、私たちを助けて強大だった過去の歴史を持つ明との義理を強調した。 蛮族の国である金とは同盟を破棄した。
現代の与党が、韓国戦争から韓国を助けた同盟米国との関係だけを重視し、中国との関係を考慮しない状況と似ている。
一方、朱華派は和親を通じて戦争を避け、平和を維持し、後日を図ろうという主張だった。 現在の野党の主張に似ている。
もちろん、100%状況が同じではない。 明は衰退していたが、米国は依然として健在で、中国を圧倒している。 しかし、経済的な側面を見れば、中国を無視することはできず、北朝鮮を統制できる国家も中国の力が大きく作用する。
歴史は斥邪派の主張どおり過去の大義名分に従って、金の侵攻で多くの民が被害を受けた。
過去のように戦争の可能性は低いが、経済的被害は国民にそのまま伝わる。 米国との関係も維持しながら、中国とも関係を友好的に持っていく中立的な外交政策が見えないのが残念に感じられる現実だ。 丙子胡乱を通じて分かった誤った判断は、そのまま国民の被害に戻るためだ。 歴史は過去を通じて学ぶことができる良い教育だ。 政治家たちがひたすら権力維持のためだけに行動し、国民のための考えがなければ、再び過去の痛い歴史は繰り返されるだろう。
ただ、野党も中立的な姿勢を取り、実利を追求する姿の中で、あえてしなくてもいい最近の野党代表の中国と台湾問題に対するどうでもいいと言う言及と私達だけが幸せなら大丈夫という発言は、極端な利益だけを追求する姿に映りかねず、大義名分を重視する与党に力を与える発言でもあった。意図はそうでなくても、聞く人たちが誤解を招く恐れがあった。
私もリベラルで野党の中立的外交を支持するが、中国の台湾侵攻は受け入れられないためだ。 もし中国が台湾人が望まない方法で台湾を併合しようとするなら、台湾人を助けることができなければならない。 いくら中国との関係が重要だが、武力という手段を使うなら、これは非常に敏感な事項だからだ。
このため、今回野党から米国と対話が可能な米国通戦略家の魏聖洛（ウィ·ソンラク）元大使を迎え入れたことは、非常に適切な判断であり、中立外交のための一層成熟した判断だと考えられる。（Qの希望）

In Korean history victims, there were two major invasions: Imjin War, in which the Japanese invaded, and the Byeongja Horan, which saw an invasion by the Jurchens of the Qing Dynasty of China. Among these, the history of the Byeongja Horan bears a striking resemblance to the current political situation in South Korea, suggesting that insights from this historical event could guide Korea's future.
During the Byeongja Horan, Korea was divided into two factions: t Cheoksapa (pro-Ming faction) and the Juhwapa (pro-Qing faction). This division is reminiscent of the current dichotomy between the ruling party and the opposition. The Cheoksapa emphasized loyalty to the Ming Dynasty, which had helped and supported Korea during the Imjin War, even though it meant breaking alliances with the Jurchens of the Qing Dynasty, who were historically allies. This mirrors the modern situation where the ruling party prioritizes its relationship with the United States, its ally since the Korean War, while neglecting relations with China.
On the other hand, the Juhwapa advocated for peace through reconciliation, aiming to avoid war and secure future prosperity. This aligns with the arguments often made by the opposition in modern Korean politics.
Of course, the situations are not identical. While the Ming Dynasty was in decline during the Byeongja Horan, the United States remains a dominant force, overshadowing China. However, economically, China cannot be ignored, and its influence plays a significant role, especially concerning North Korea.
Ultimately, following the Cheoksapa's insistence on upholding past alliances led to the invasion by the Qing Dynasty, resulting in significant harm to the Korean people. Similarly, while war may seem unlikely now, economic damages could still affect the citizens greatly. It is regrettable that a neutral diplomatic policy, maintaining relations with both the United States and China, is not pursued. The lessons from the Byeongja Horan remind us that misguided decisions can have severe consequences for the people.
However, recent remarks by the opposition leader regarding China and Taiwan have been seen as pursuing extreme interests rather than maintaining a neutral stance. Intentions, if not, could cause misunderstanding by listeners.
While I, too, support a liberal approach to diplomatic relations, I cannot condone China's aggression towards Taiwan. If China attempts to annex Taiwan against the will of its people, we should stand by them. While relations with China are crucial, the use of force in such matters is delicate.
Therefore, the recent recruitment of former Ambassador, Wi Sung-lac, by the opposition party, known for his expertise in engaging with the U.S., is seen as a judicious move. It reflects a matured decision-making process aimed at pursuing a neutral diplomatic stance.(Q's hope)
