キンシャサ（コンゴ民主共和国）への往復は、パリ（エールフランス）、イスタンブール（トルコ航空）、またはアディスアベバ（エチオピア航空）経由でしたが、3社中コストと快適さが＜竹＞でちょうどよいトルコ航空を良く使っていた。
　東京-イスタンブールが約11時間、トランジットが11~15時間、そしてイスタンブール-キンシャサが約8時間の合計30~34時間程度の旅程であるが、このトランジットをどう過ごすかが毎回課題となった。
The round trip to Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo) was via Paris (France: Air France), Istanbul (Turkey; Turkish Airlines), or Addis Ababa (Ethiopia: Ethiopian Airlines), but of the three options, because of the cost and the comfort were middle, I often used Turkish Airlines.
The itinerary was approximately 30 to 34 hours in total, with Tokyo to Istanbul being approximately 11 hours, transit time being 11 to 15 hours, and Istanbul to Kinshasa being approximately 8 hours, how to spend this transit time was a challenge each time.

2019年までは、イスタンブール市近くのアタチュルク国際空港でのトランジットであったためトルコ航空が提供する市内観光を利用して、イスタンブール旧市街のそぞろ歩きを良くしていた。2019年4月からは新しいイスタンブール国際空港が開港したものの新型コロナで入国制限がかかったため空港内ラウンジや空港内ホテルを利用。2022年末より、そろそろ新型コロナによる入国規制がなくなったのを機会に、空港外で「骨休め」することにした。新空港から望む黒海が素晴らしい深紺の色合いで、それに心惹かれて黒海沿岸の町カラブルンのリゾートホテルに投宿している。
Until 2019, I was transiting at Ataturk International Airport near Istanbul, so I used the city tour provided by Turkish Airlines to enjoy a stroll around the old city of Istanbul. Although the new Istanbul International Airport opened in April 2019, there were entry restrictions due to the new coronavirus, so I used the airport lounge and airport hotel. From the end of 2022, when entry restrictions due to the new coronavirus are about to end, we decided to take a ``relaxation'' outside the airport. The view of the Black Sea from the new airport is a stunning deep blue color, and I was drawn to it, so I stayed at a resort hotel in Karaburun, a town on the Black Sea coast.

　宿に到着するのが昼過ぎ、シャワーを浴び軽い昼食のあと、黒海沿岸をそぞろ歩きする。灯台が寂しげにたたずみ、海水浴客でにぎわうはずの砂浜もあまり遊泳客をみかけない。
　黒海のかなたに沈む美しい夕日を堪能しながら、宿のプールサイドのレストランで、トルコ料理に舌鼓を打ちつつエフェスを楽しむ幸福。高貴なたたずまいの猫ちゃんを撮影。今日も良き一日でした。
I arrived at a hotel in the afternoon, and after taking a shower and having a light lunch, we take a stroll along the Black Sea coast. The lighthouse stands forlornly, and the sandy beach, which should be crowded with swimmers, doesn't see many swimmers.
The happiness of drinking "Efes" while enjoying the beautiful sunset over the Black Sea and eating Turkish cuisine at the hotel's poolside restaurant. Taking a photograph of the cat with a noble appearance. It was another good day.
