この曲は「TAO」といって私の甥たおがまだ2-3歳の頃　- 2014-2015年ごろに書いた曲で、シンガポールのMAAD Soundsというミニフェスに私の当時やっていたバンドL.A.B(Listen And Believe)が出演した時のパフォーマンス動画です。

実はたおを思って書いた曲は数曲あります。この曲はその中の１曲「Delightful Tao’s Dilemma」と言うジャズメッセンジャー風に書いた曲のイントロなのですが、独立した曲とも言える完成度だと思ったので（手前味噌ですがマジです）、L.A.Bに持って行き、ボーカルのMichaelaにコーラスを、そしてベース／ボーカルのTimにラップのパートをつけてもらいました。冒頭で私が弾いているのが「TAO」の原曲です。

下に彼らの書いた素晴らしい歌詞と訳を掲載します。ティムの歌詞は韻を踏んでいますので、良かったら口に出して読んでみて下さい。全ての子供、男の子に当てはまる美しいメッセージだと思う。

私と同じ誕生日のたおは１２歳。
本当に良い子に育ち、認知症の初期の段階にある大ママ（私の母）をいたわることもできる。気を使ってくれるたおに涙が出そうになります。自由に思う存分人生を謳歌できる様に、サポートしたいと思う。たおが京都にいる間にもう一回聴かせてみよう、昔は照れていたけれど最近英語や音楽にも興味が出てきているから。
