It has probably been seven or eight years since I began to use a note-taking app. The first one I used was Evernote. I found it on the internet about seven or eight before and jumped at it. I expected it to help me to save time taking notes and manage all my notes in the app. As was expected, it was of great help and enabled me to manage all my notes more easily than before. As long as all my notes were in it, it was very easy to read again or do something else for them. So I tried to take notes in it as much as possible: e.g. I tried to take note of all comments in a meeting and make it a meeting minute.; I also tried to save information on the internet, such as news articles and so forth, into it. In particular, its sub-app, a web clipper, was of great help to save them.
But as I was saving them more and more, I was aware that Evernote set some limit to use it for free, and I had to pay to use it beyond the limit. So I gave it up and switched to OneNote from MS, another note-taking app. It has almost the same features as Evernote and gave me no trouble. Above all, I am very happy to use it for free with no limit. So, I have been using it for a long time without looking at other similar apps. I now mainly use it for writing articles for the ‘note’. I use it to take notes on topics for the articles. Whenever a topic comes to my mind, I jot it down and create an outline of the story for the topic.
Its web clipper, a sub-app, is also of use, and it helps me collect information on the information. However, I now have a problem with the sub-app. I used it on Firefox but could no longer use it. MS shut it down and now urges me to use another one in Edge, its web browser. I may have to stop using OneNote as I have no choice to stop using Firefox.

　メモアプリを使い始めてから、もう7、8年になります。最初に使ったアプリは、エバーノートでした。７，８年前にインターネットで見つけて、飛びつきました。メモを取る時間を節約でき、アプリ内ですべてのメモを管理するのに役立つと期待したからです。期待通り、とても役に立ち、以前よりも簡単にすべてのメモを管理できるようになりました。メモがこのアプリに入ってさえいれば、読み返したり、何かを追加したりするのはとても簡単にできました。例えば、会議での発言をすべてメモして議事録にしたり、ニュース記事などネット上の情報も保存しました。特にサブアプリのウェブクリッパーは保存するのに大いに役立ちました。
　でも、情報をどんどん保存していくうちに、エバーノートは無料で使うには制限があり、制限を超えて使うにはお金を払わなければならないことに気付きました。それで、エバーノートに見切りをつけ、MSのワンノートに乗り換えました。ワンノートはエバーノートとほぼ同じ機能を備えており、まったく不自由はありませんでした。何より、無料で制限なく使えるのがよかったです。なので、他の類似アプリには目もくれず、ずっと使い続けています。今は主にnoteの記事を書くのに使っています。記事のネタをメモするために使っています。ネタが頭に浮かんだら、それをメモして、それに関する記事のアウトラインを作成しています。サブアプリのウェブクリッパーもとても便利で、情報収集に役立っています。
　でも、今、このサブアプリが問題です。ファイアーフォックスでこのアプリを使っていたのですが、使えなくなってしまったのです。MSはこれを停止し、同社のウェブブラウザであるエッジで使用するよう促してきました。ファイアーフォックスをやめるという選択肢はないので、ワンノートを使うのをやめなければならないかもしれません。
