It is the hottest time of the summer. It is also the time to enjoy beer. But, usually, I have not had beer even in the summer. On the other hand, I had whisky all the year round. In particular, I love to drink it straight. However, this summer is so hot and humid that I have gotten the urge to drink a beer. A few days ago, I had a beer after a long time. I had Sapporo’s Draft Beer Black Label. I have 2 favourite beers. One is the Black Label, and the other is YEBISU Beer. I rarely drink beer at home, but when I do so, I always have either of them. It is not easy to explain in words why I like them. I like them as they just taste good.
For drinking, I always need something small to eat. In particular, I need nuts, and my favourite is cashews. I love them more than peanuts. They are soft and less greasy. I seldom have peanuts, which are much harder than cashews. I also like pistachios. Since I have to shell them, I need a longer time to have but they taste very good.
In the past, I used to have cheese, crisps and other nibbles. But I ceased to have them. They made me drink too much. As a result, I no longer have a hangover and I enjoy drinking.
I will never have a hangover. When I had the Black Label beer, I got sleepy with a can at once and went to bed. I was too sleepy to continue to open my eyes.

　夏真っ盛りです。ビールのシーズン到来です。でも、ボクは夏でもビールを飲むことはありませんでした。代わりに、一年中、ウイスキーを飲んでいました。特に、ストレートで飲むのが好きです。でも、この夏はあまり蒸し暑いので、ビールが飲みたくなりました。数日前に、サッポロの生ビール黒ラベルを飲みました。ボクにはお気に入りのビールが２つあります。その1つが黒ラベルで、もう一つが絵エビスビールです。家では、めったにビールを飲みませんが、飲むときはこのいずれかです。この２つが好きな理由を言葉にするのは難しいです。ただおいしいからとしか言いようがありません。
お酒を飲むときは、おつまみが欠かせません。特に、ナッツが欠かせません。なかでも、カシューナッツがお気に入りです。ピーナッツより気に入っています。柔らかく、脂っこくないのがいいです。ピーナッツは硬いので食べません。ピスタチオも好きです。殻をむかなければいけないので、時間がかかりますがおいしいです。昔は、チーズやポテチなども食べていましたが、もうやめました。飲みすぎるからです。おかげで、二日酔いもなく、お酒を楽しめています。
　また、もう二日酔いになることはなさそうです。黒ラベルを飲んだ時も、缶一本で眠くなって、ベッドに入りました。眠くて、目を開いていられませんでした。
