プライド月間とは

プライド月間（Pride month）とは、LGBTQ2IA+（レズビアン、ゲイ、バイセクシュアル、トランスジェンダー、クィア、クエスチョニング、トゥー・スピリット、インターセックス、アセクシュアルとその他の性的少数者）の権利と認識を促進するために、毎年6月に世界中で開催されるイベントです。この月間では、性的マイノリティの誇りを称え、彼らの社会的な存在を祝い、平等な権利と多様性を推進するための取り組みが行われます。

D&IマネージャーのChristopher Bannister-Bailey氏は、彼がクローダでの仕事において最も重要な点は、社員たちが偏見に立ち向かう自信を持ち、心理的な安全性を高められる職場環境を作り出すことだと語りました。

これは、差別や偏見を恐れて職場で本来の自分でいられないと感じる可能性が高い世界中のLGBTQ2IA＋の社員にとって特に重要です。

クローダのプライド月間 2023

クローダでは、「Responsible（責任）」と「Together（共に）」という価値感を実践することで、すべての人に公平性をもたらすために取り組んでいます。これは、LGBTQ2IA＋コミュニティへの協力を示す指針となっています。

プライド月間を通じて、クローダのEDIチーム（Equity Diversity Inclusion team）は地域の活動に参加し、教育コンテンツや経験を共有しました。英国と米国の社員を差別が起きた時、「第三者」として介入できるためのトレニンーグ------「アクティブ・バイスタンダー トレーニング」を実施します。

すべてのお客様とクローダ社員が素晴らしいプライド月間を過ごせることを心からお祈りしています。

D&I Manager, Christopher Bannister-Bailey, told us that the most important aspect of his work at Croda is creating confidence to challenge bias and the courage to share experiences in a psychologically safe workplace.

This is especially important to our LGBTQ2IA colleagues, around the world, who are more likely to feel unable to be their authentic selves at work for fear of discrimination or being excluded.

At Croda, we show allyship to the Queer community through living our values of ‘Responsible’ and ‘Together’ that guide how we work to create equity for all.

Through Pride month, EDI teams at Croda will be celebrating with local activities, sharing educational content and experiences, as well as colleagues in the UK and US being invited to participate in Active-Bystander training.
