Hello, there.
I tried to make a summary of the TV drama "Last Man" final episode to explain to my teacher, who loves Yo Oizumi.
It might be challenging, and there were more foreshadowings, but I did my best.
It contains spoilers, in just case.

A blind FBI agent, Mr. Hiromi Minami, acted by Masaharu Fukuyama, and a cop, Mr. Shintaro Godo, performed by Yo Oizumi.

Shintaro had believed his father was a murderer for a long time, but the fact was coming out. They started doubting his father was falsely accused.
At the same time, his father was transferred to the medical prison since his life wasn't so long, and Shitaro's stepfather visited his room and tried to inject some medicine. Still, Hiromi and Shintaro just arrived and stopped him from doing.

It was a highly complex relationship.
Hiromi's father, Minami, was a realtor superficially but, the fact, was a land speculator and had a relationship with the Japanese mafia.

Shintaro's father, Kamata, used to work for a fancy Japanese-style restaurant as a chef, and he met a woman who worked as a waitress, Setsuko, there, and then they fell in love. They were planning to get married.

However, the proprietress asked her to get married to a man who was a loyal customer of their restaurant, Minami, and they got married, and Hiromi was born.

After several years, Kamata opened his restaurant; one day, Setsuko visited him with little Hiromi. According to her, her husband had already had another wife, so she wanted to break up with him and asked Kamata to borrow some money. He accepted the mother and child to live with him and work for his restaurant.

And then they got another baby, Shintaro, and they lived peacefully.
After a while, Hiromi's father divorced another wife and sent the Japanese mafia to them to obstruct business and pick up Setsuko and Hiromi. However, he didn't accept Shintaro, so his mother had to leave him with his father.

Several years later, Minami realized something wrong with Hiromi, and he ordered a DNA test and discovered that Hiromi was Kamata's son. When Minami and Setsuko married, she had already been pregnant with Kamata's baby. And then he went mad and plotted to kill Setsuko and Hiromi and put the blame on Kamata.

One day, Kamata was invited to Minami's place, and Minami stabbed Setsuko with a knife. When she was dying, she asked Kamata to care for their sons. And then Hiromi came out of his room, and Minami headed to Hiromi to kill him, and Kamata tried to avoid it. So Minami and Kamata got into a fight in the middle of the stairs, and then they all fell down the stairs; only Kamata and Hiromi lost consciousness. Unfortunately, Hiromi lost his eyesight then.

Minami had called a familiar cop to ask him to blame Kamata, but the cop refused and hit him with an ashtray, and he carried out Kamata and Hiromi and set fire. The cop met a police officer on patrol by chance when he ran away, and he asked him to keep a secret instead of his promotion.

After that, Kamata was arrested for the murder. The cop asked him to plead guilty instead of his son Shintaro's adoption, and Kamata accepted, and then he have been served for forty-one years.
After forty-one years, he reunited his loved sons and died.

Shintaro arrested his stepfather by himself.

These were the facts.
Hiromi and Shintaro were real brothers.
Their father was innocent.
Shitantaro's stepfather used to be a cop but a murderer.
