Under the cherry blossoms

I took two lessons with teacher N today.

During the lesson, I shared the book I'd been reading nowadays with her; the title was "Tokyo Ueno station," written by Yu Miri in Japanese and translated by Morgan Giles into English.
I explained to her that Ueno station was the actual station in Tokyo, and there used to live many homeless people.

In this book, the son of a homeless passed away, and the Japanese style, especially in the countryside of the funeral, is described in detail.
Since I've experienced that, I could imagine it easily.
I'm in the middle of the book now; I can't wait to binge-read it.

The next topic was if I had experienced taking a lesson outside.
I tried to do that before, when I didn't know if I would come back home until the lesson began, then I was considering taking a class in the park, but unfortunately, it was a rainy day, so I gave it up.
I'll try someday; the cherry blossoms will broom under them in the park.

She told me she loves cherry blossoms but has yet to feel them real.
She asked me if she could order from Japan; probably, they don't permit it.
In that case, she can ship herself to Japan, and then I'll receive "it."

We changed the topic and talked about the test, for instance, eiken and TOEIC.
First, she asked me about eiken; how long I studied for it.
In my case, I failed three times for the second grade before, and after a long time, I retried.

After the fourth try, I thought I had failed again, so I started preparing for second grade, but I received the result "passed."
I couldn't believe it, and I thought of taking the semi-first grade the next, next time.

However, some people well-versed in English advised me to take the next grade and stay within the distance of English vocabulary left in my memory, so I decided to take it the next time.
I had only three months to prepare for it, but I could pass it on the first try.
That was incredible!

She asked me how I studied, and I answered using a vocabulary APP; during household choirs, I listened to the APP and repeated them.
In addition, I only memorized some of the vocabularies, 30% or 40% of all.
I realized I was a "global thinking person."

Next, we talked about TOEIC; I heard there were some tips for solving the questions.
If I take it next time, I'll learn them first and be careful not to fall asleep.
Although I don't feel like taking eiken and TOEIC because I wouldn't say I like studying for the test, I enjoy learning English.

At the end of the class, she shared her favorite book overflowing with plenty of beautiful phrases, with me, and I want to read it someday.

I have yet to be able to book the lessons with teacher I recently; I hope she has been doing well, although she was busy.
I miss her so much and hope to take her lesson under the cherry blossoms, too.
