My experiences in NZ #2

Hello, there.
I’d love to continue from where I ended last time.

How did I get to NZ?

I had several choices getting to NZ; from Narita airport, from the nearest airport and transit somewhere, or going by ship, just kidding.

I chose the second one.
Moreover, I needed to decide which airways I would be on board.
Although the cheapest was Korean air, I chose Singapore airlines, called SQ, and transit at Changi airport.
Their air ticket was expensive; it was about two times Korean air!

Furthermore, I had to spend about eight hours there for transit.
I had several nonnegotiable reasons.
The main reason was SQ had called the “wings of safety.”
The second reason was that I had been familiar with SQ clues; they stayed at the hotel where I worked.
The third reason was I had visited Singapore before, so I was familiar with Changi airport.
For the above reasons, I chose SQ.

Before departure, I applied to pick up service at Auckland airport, but my grandma was worried about me and said, “If someone won’t pick her up at the airport, what should she do.”
However, my anxiety differed from hers; I considered what I should do if I fell asleep and missed the flight while waiting for the flight to Auckland at Changi airport.

Finally, I departed on March 4th, 6th,1998.
Didn’t I miss the flight?
Did someone pick me up?
Could I arrive at my host family safely?

That’s all for today, and to be next time.
See you around.
