桜の表情がちがって見える。
一本一本の木や枝の形が違うからだろうか。
花が上を向き、また下を向いているせいだろうか。
枝にもっこりと寄り添うように咲いているのもあり、
枝先にひっそりと垂れ下がっているのもある。
それぞれの表情で楽しませてくれる。

The expression of the cherry blossoms looks different.
Is it because the shape of each tree or branch is different?
Is it because the flowers are facing up and down?
Some of them are blooming so that they snuggle up to the branches. Some of them hang quietly on the tip of a branch.
It will entertain us with each expression.

夙川河川敷のベンチに掛けて眺めていると、
隣のベンチに座る高齢者の女性のおしゃべりが聞こえてきた。

毎年来ているが、ここはほんとキレイね
また来年も来ましょうね
来年は生きているかどうかわからんし
でも、生きていたら3人で見ることができたらいいね

この会話が切実に沁みる歳になった。

When I hang it on a bench on the Shukugawa riverbed and look at it,
I heard an elderly woman sitting on the bench next bench chatting.

We come every year, it is really beautiful here.
Let's come again next year.
I don't know if I am alive next year.
But if I was alive, I wish I could see it with you.
