仁和寺で小さい秋みつけた I found a small autumn at Ninnaji Temple
ほんの少し前の仁和寺。
もみじに色がつき始め、秋の彩に。
Ninna-ji Temple just a short time ago.
The maple leaves begin to color and become the color of autumn.
こんな景色を見ると、歳のせいだろうか、むかしを懐かしむ。
思い浮かんだのが、サトーハチロウ作詞の「ちいさい秋みつけた」の童謡。

めかくし鬼さん 手のなる方へ
すましたお耳に かすかにしみた

When I see this kind of scenery, I remember nostalgic, probably because of my age.
What came to my mind was the nursery rhyme of "Small Autumn Found" written by Hachirou Satou.

Slightly stained to your ear
Call with the whistle is bark of a shrike
