外貨、特に今なら米ドルを稼ぎやすくするために、
英語が確かに便利だと思う。

何をして外貨を稼ぐかによるけど、そのためだけなら
何年もかけてするものではないと思う。
東南アジアに行けば、小卒、中卒でも普通に話す
人はたくさんいる。
大学に行って英語で勉強すれば、もちろんより堪能に
会話できる素養があると言えるだろう。
しかし、生活するためだけに限定するなら
会話のフレーズなど限られている。

日本人がお金と時間をたくさん使っているのは、
英語が難しいからではなく、
英語を難しいと思っている（思わされている）
点が大きな原因だと思う。
そういう産業も確立されていて、（資格、塾、問題集などなど）
もちろん後押しする。
なぜ日本人の多くがそのような言説を信じているかというと、
英語を実践的に使わずに英語の勉強ばかりしているからだと思う。
実践的に使うとは、英語で本やニュースを見たり、英語で人と話すことを指している。試験や資格の答案を埋めることは含まれない。
なぜなら試験や資格の多くは日本の中の出来事だからだ。
外国語を使うということは、自力で日本の外を知るということだ。
もちろん日本のニュース番組や新聞でも日本語で外国の事を知ることはできる。しかし、それは翻訳されたものであって、他人が国内に持ち込んだものだと考えると、日本の中の出来事と捉えることもできる。
So, if you want to use English, just use English even you don't feel it is perfect,
it's still much better than just studying with Japanese.

英語で書いてみる。

And many Japanese people still tend to think English means it should be native one, British, American, Canadian, Australian. Why they think so?
Because, as one of the reason I think, when they study English in Japan, they usually listen only those sort of English.
For instance, in TOEIC listening exam, you can hear only those. You can't hear Singlish, Taglish or African accent etc. 
But there are many kind of English spoken by variety of people in the world to communicate each other.
So if you want to use English, you need to go out from Japan with your unperfect English instead of studying just native English with text or exam made by Japanese educational organization.
It means still domestic things. As I mentioned before, the definition of meaning of using English on this article is to know about outside of Japan.

Japanese people dont realize that there are other kinds of english besides the standard british, american and australian english. Why, you may ask?
I believe one of the reasons to be that when English is studied as a subject in Japan, they are only exposed to this kind of English.
For instance, these are the only kinds of english you will be able to hear in a TOEIC english exam. The likelihood is low that you will be able to hear a singlish, taglish or an african accent.
But as we all know, there is a much wider variety of English spoken in the world that people use to communicate with each other.
so if you want to use English, you need to venture out of Japan despite your imperfect English instead of studying native English with a textbook or exam prep materials made by Japanese educational organization.
This method of studying english limits our worldview to a domestic perspective. In essence, to use english means to know the outside world.

ずいぶん違うけど、修正できるということは、少なくとも僕が意図している事は、伝わっているということだ。
世界にはいろいろな英語が存在しているのと同じように、
これは「いりかす英語」という種類のものだ。
と言えるようになるには、
国内で日本人を通じて勉強ばかりしていないで、
さっさと実践経験を増やし、通じた事を確認すればするほどそれまでの
ドグマから抜け出せると思う。
正しくはないけど通じる英語と割り切れば、そんなに学習時間が減らせる。
その分、相手が聞いておもしろい話ができるように知識を蓄えることに時間が使える。
英語の発音やアクセントがネイティブのような日本人のyoutuberの動画を見たことがあるけど、それより茂木健一郎や大前研一の公演動画のほうが見たいと思う。

なお、家族によると、最近ではTOEICのテストに中国アクセントの英語なども出てくるとのこと。
