A Beer Event in Tamba City

Tomorrow, I'm going to visit Tamba city, which is located in the central east region of Hyogo Prefecture.
（明日は兵庫県の中東部に位置する丹波市に行くつもりです）

I have been to the city a few times before, but I don't remember when the last time I visited there.
（丹波市には何度か行ったことがありますが、最後はいつだったか覚えていません）

Last month, I got to know a woman at a social networking event.
（先月交流会である女性と知り合いました）

While talking, I learned that she loves drinking sake too and used to work at a local sake brewery in Tamba called "Yamana Shuzo".
（話している中で、その方も日本酒が好きだということ、そして以前山名酒造さんという丹波市の酒蔵で働かれていたことを知りました）

A few weeks later, I got a message from her saying that she was going to hold a special beer event in Tamba City.
（それから数週間後その方から、スペシャルなビールのイベントを丹波市で主催するというメッセージをいただきました）

What makes the event special is, she is bringing in sake kasu beer made by local brewers in Tamaba City.
（そのイベントの何が特別かというと、丹波地元の蔵人さんが造った酒粕ビールを振舞うという点でした）

You might think like,
（こんな風に思うかもしれません）

"What? Sake kasu and beer? Do they go well with each other?"
（え？酒粕とビール？合うの？？）

According to her, it's not like sake kasu flavored beer.
（その方によると、酒粕味のビールという感じではなく）

It's more like beer with a hint of sake kasu and it is made in a way that the big flavor coming from sake kasu won't overpower the flavor of the beer.
（どちらかと言うとかすかに酒粕の風味がするビールで、酒粕の強い味がビールの味わいを圧倒しないように造られているとのことでした）

Because I had still a month till the day and my schedule hadn't been fixed yet, I saved the date right away and replied to her to say "Yes, I'd love to join the event!"
（まだ1カ月時間があったのと、スケジュールが確定していなかったので、その日をすぐに押さえ、「ぜひ参加したいです！」とお返事しました）

Because Tamba City is quite far from where I live and it seems like it takes about two hours to get there, I thought I should make the most of this opportunity.
（丹波市は私が住んでいるところから結構遠く2時間くらいかかりそうなので、この機会を最大限に活かしたほうがいいと思いました）

I've decided to visit two sake breweries before the event.
（そのイベント前に2つの酒蔵に行くことにしました）

One of the breweries is Yamana Shuzo as I mentioned above and the other is Nishiyama Suzojo, both of which are ones of the breweries I've always wanted to visit.
（1つは上述の山名酒造さんで、もう１つは西山酒造場さん、２つともずっと行ってみたかった酒蔵さんです）

Last night, I got another message from her letting me know that a koji-making expert is also joining the event.
（昨晩その方から、もう一度連絡をいただき、麹造りをされている方も参加されると知りました）

I feel really excited about tomorrow!
（明日が楽しみです！）

（ところで、私はこの記事を3月17日の夜に書いています）
