レゴブロックを使って自分の状況を表現して内省する取り組みをしています。
　今回は2023年11月18日に作った自分の状況についての定点観測です。
　この手法の名称を英語圏の人にも伝わりやすいように「３Dセルフインタビュー」と定めました。合わせてマガジンタイトルと記事のタイトルも変えるようにしました。

I am working on using LEGO bricks to express and reflect on our own situation once a month. This time it is a fixed point observation about my situation that I made on 18 November 2023.
The name of this method was defined as '3D self-interview' to make it easier for English-speaking people to understand. The title of the magazine and the title of the article were changed accordingly.

・中央にいるのが自分である。つい先日、私はCoffee Chatという世界各国のファシリテーターが参加する学び場で、この３Dセルフ・インタビューについて話した。自分の後ろに道のようにできている「赤ーピンクー青」は、情熱を入れて準備を行い（赤）、本番は楽しみながらチャレンジし（ピンク）、無事に終わって興奮も冷め冷静になっている（青）感情の変化を表している。ピンクから伸びている青のブロックと緑の波状のブロックは参加者の好意的な反応を表している。
The person in the centre of the model is myself. Just recently I spoke about this 3D self-interview at Coffee Chat, a learning forum for facilitators from around the world. The 'red-pink-blue' that forms like a path behind me represents the change of emotions: preparing with passion (red), enjoying the challenge of the event (pink), and then cooled down with excitement and calmness (blue) after a successful completion (pink). The blue and green wavy blocks extending from pink represent a positive response from the participants.
・Coffee Chatへの準備の中で今の私は過去のことを振り返り、初心に戻った（首の下の緑色のブロック）。より素晴らしいファシリテーターになり、多くの人の問題解決の力になりたいと望んでいたことを思い出した。
In the preparation for the Coffee Chat, I now look back at my past and go back to my beginnings (green block below my neck). I remembered that I wanted to become a better facilitator and help many people solve their problems.
・現在、私が取り組んでいる主な３つのプロジェクトがある。それぞれにパートナーがいる。彼らは私のほうを見ている（目玉のついた黄色）。
There are currently three main projects I am working on. Each of them has a partner. They are looking at me (yellow with eyeballs).
・一つめは、非認知能力の測定方法の開発研究（ピンクと透明の赤）である。こちらは11月初めに開発研究成果を発表する機会があった。次のステージについて考える時期に来ている。
I am currently working on three main projects. The first is a development study of a method for measuring non-cognitive skills (pink and transparent red). This one had the opportunity to present the results of the development research at the beginning of November. It is time to think about the next stage.
・2つ目のプロジェクトは、好きなことを起点としたキャリア開発プログラムである（積み上げた緑）。
The second project is a career development programme starting from what you like to do (stacked green).
・3つ目のプロジェクトは、小学校向けのレゴブロックを使ったワークのプログラム開発である（オレンジ）。
The third project is the development of a programme of work with Lego bricks for primary schools（orange）.

・３つのプロジェクトを成功させることで自分のキャリアによい影響が出ることは確信しているが（黄色の透明のブロック）、確実にそれを成し遂げる道は見えていない（黒のプレート）。
I am convinced that succeeding in these three projects will have a positive impact on my career (yellow transparent block), but I do not see a way to achieve it with certainty (black plate).
・黄色のプレートは、ファシリテーターのコミュニティ向けの活動を表す。私としては年末に行いたいと考えているものの、十分に企画準備ができていない。
▪ The yellow plates represent activities for the facilitator community. I would like to do these activities at the end of the year, but I am not sufficiently prepared to plan it.

・私が向かおうとしている場所は、全体を見回すためのより高い場所である（ベージュの柱とオレンジの小さなプレート）。そこに向かう途中にあるのは、これまでの活動の整理すること（黄緑と緑）である。私が手に持っているのはペンである（黒の棒）。このペンは活動計画と研究計画を文書にまとめる意思を示している。
The place I am heading to is a higher place to look around the whole area (beige columns and small orange plates). On the way there is to organise the activities so far (yellow-green and green). In my hand is a pen (black stick). This pen indicates the intention to put the activity plan and the research plan in writing.
・手前に見えているグレーのブロック２つは、同僚の職場からの離職を表している。2人とも新たな門出を祝うとともに、どのような影響が職場に出てくるかについて少し心配である。
The two grey blocks seen in the foreground represent colleagues leaving their workplaces; both are celebrating their new beginnings and are a little concerned about what impact this will have on their workplaces.

前月（10月）との比較　Comparison with previous month (October)

ここからは前月のモデルとの比較を行ってみる。
Here is a comparison with the previous month's models.

・10月はつるはしをもっていたが、11月はペンに持ち替えた。大学では来年4月以降のための計画を立てる時期になってきたからだ。
In October I had a pickaxe, but in November I switched to a pen. This is because it is now time to plan for next April and beyond at university.
・10月は視野を高く持つことが強く表現されていたが、11月は視野が低くなっている。私は視野を高くしなければならないと焦っている。また、11月になって海外の活動への意識の範囲は狭くなり、自分の仕事に関する領域が広くなった。これは、この1カ月の間は、自分の抱える３つのプロジェクトに多くのエネルギーを使った結果だと思われる。
In October, having a high field of vision was strongly expressed, but in November the field of vision is lower. I am impatient to have a higher vision. Also in November, the scope of my awareness of overseas activities became narrower and the area related to my work became wider. This is probably the result of having spent a lot of energy during the past month on the three projects I have on my plate.
・国内のファシリテーターのコミュニティにあった花や葉の表現が消えた。コミュニティ活動はしているものの、全体を十分に把握できていないという感覚が表れている。
The flower and leaf representations that were present in the community of facilitators in the country have disappeared. This expresses a sense that although they are engaged in community activities, they are not fully aware of the whole picture.

昨年（2022年11月）との比較 Comparison with last year (Nov 2022)

・2022年の11月に私はすでに高いところから計画を立てていた。Noteでの記事の積み重ねがその計画作成のもとになっていた。このことは、今から私が何をすべきかについて示している。
In November 2022 I was already planning from a high place; a series of articles in Note formed the basis for the creation of that plan. This indicates as to what I should do now.
・2022年の11月は主に３つのことについて考えていた。今は３つのプロジェクトに加えてコミュニティや大学における心配事が表現されている。自分の良い状態が３つのことを考えている状態なので、自分の取り組みを3つになるように整理して統合することが必要そうだ。
In November 2022, three main things were considered. Now, in addition to the three projects, concerns in the community and the university are expressed. My good state of mind is thinking about three things, so it seems that I need to organise and integrate my efforts to become three things.
・2022年に比べて論文を書くということの私の意識がおろそかになっていることに気づかされた。このような記事は書き続けているが、それとは別にさらに文章を書く時間を作らねばならない。どうやってその時間を作るのかも考えることが必要である。
I have noticed that my awareness of writing articles has been neglected compared to 2022. I continue to write these articles, but I have to make time for further writing. I also need to think about how I will make that time.

出来事のプレイ Playing Emergence

　ここではモデルに関して、３つほど今後起きる出来事を想定し、それに対して想定される自分の反応から適応の行動指針を探る。
　In this section, three or so future events are envisaged with regard to the model, and the possible personal reactions to these events are used to explore the behavioural guidelines for adaptation.

【出来事１：新しいワークショップの依頼が舞い込む】
＜もたらされる影響＞
　依頼を受けると計画を立てることの意識が低くなる可能性がある。
＜自分が取りそうな判断＞
　標準的な報酬が示されれば承諾する。
＜その判断は正しいか？なぜ正しいのか？＞
　正しい。研究予算がほぼ無くなってしまったので追加の収入があるとよい。その収入を計画を立てるための資料購入などに充てる。

Event 1: New workshop requests come in.
<Impact>
There is a potential for a lack of awareness of the need to plan when asked to do so.
<Decision>
Accept if standard remuneration is indicated.
<Is the decision correct? Why?>
Correct. This is because the research budget is almost gone and additional income should be available. The income will be used to purchase materials for planning purposes.

【出来事２：取り組みプロジェクトの打ち切り】
＜もたらされる影響＞
　自分の活動の負荷が軽減される。そのプロジェクトで得られる経験やデータが失われる。
＜自分が取りそうな判断＞
　打ち切りを素直に受け入れる。それまでの経験を記事に書く。
＜その判断は正しいか？なぜ正しいのか？＞
　正しくない。時間をもらってこれまでのことを振り返って論文などより大きな成果につなげることを考えるべきである。もしくは次の後続プロジェクトのための提案をまとめる。

Event 2: Termination of projects
<Impact>
The burden of their activities is reduced. The experience and data gained from the project will be lost.
<Decision>
Accept the termination with open arms. Write an article about your experiences up to that point.
<Is the decision correct? Why?>
It is not correct. You should be given time to reflect on what you have done so far and think about a larger outcome, such as a dissertation. Or put together a proposal for the next subsequent project.

【出来事３：新たな教員の退職】
＜もたらされる影響＞
　代わりの教員を積極的に探さねばならなくなる。
＜自分が取りそうな判断＞
　知り合いの先生に代理がいないか聞いて回る。
＜その判断は正しいか？なぜ正しいのか？＞
　正しい。実際には私には選択肢がない。したがって、困った状況になってから動くのではなく、普段から学術界の人脈を広げていくことを大事に、学会参加の機会を増やしておく。だたし、学会参加のための費用を確保しなければならないという課題が生まれる。総合的な研究計画の力が必要だ。

Event 3: Retirement of new colleagues.
<Impact>
They will have to actively look for replacement teachers.
<Decision>
Ask around to teachers you know if they have a substitute.
<Is the decision correct? Why?>
Correct. In fact, I have no choice. Therefore, instead of moving after a troubling situation, I should take care to expand my contacts in the academic world on a regular basis and increase my opportunities to attend conferences. However, this creates the challenge of having to secure funding for conference participation. I need the power of a comprehensive research plan.

・心配事が多くなり、精神的に少し悪い状態が生まれてきているので注意深く日々を過ごす。

Allow plenty of time to plan ahead.
・総合的な研究パースペクティブにつながっていく記事を多く書いていく。
Write more articles that lead to a comprehensive research perspective.
