極めて耽美的なピアノではあるが⑥以外はセンチメンタルさはない。寧ろそよ風のように爽やかなタッチで描かれる水彩画のようなニュアンスのピアニズムである。Bobo Stensonはそのリリカルなタッチと流麗なフレージング、そして濃密なインタープレイで故Jan Garbarekと共に北欧ジャズ界に君臨するスタープレイヤーである。本作は『 Indicum 』(2012,ECM)以来、6年ぶりとなる彼の作品でAnders Jormin(b)、Jon Fait(ds)と組んだピアノトリオ盤である。自身のオリジナルとベーシストAndersの作品の他、Bela BartokやErik Satie、Frederic Monpouというクラシック作曲家の作品も取り上げているのが特徴と言えよう。2018年録音作品。☆☆☆☆☆

Although it is an extremely aesthetic piano, there is no sentimentality except for ⑥.  Rather, it is pianism with nuances like a watercolor painting, painted with a refreshing touch like a gentle breeze.  Bobo Stenson is a star player who, along with the late Jan Garbarek, reigns in the Nordic jazz world with his lyrical touch, elegant phrasing, and intense interplay.  This is his first work in six years since " Indicum "(ECM,2012), and is a piano trio album in collaboration with Anders Jormin (b) and Jon Fait (drums).  In addition to his own originals and five pieces by bassist Anders, the album also features works by classical composers Bela Bartok, Erik Satie, and Federico Monpou.  Recorded in 2018.  ☆☆☆☆☆
