引き続き、三重県への旅。
海は特に好きだったわけではありません。子供の頃に海水浴に行って、それなりに楽しんでいた記憶はありますが大人になってからは海に行きたいと思うことはなかったですね。泳ぎが得意なわけではなく、海の写真も苦手ですからね。
それが変わったようです。
先日、天橋立に行った時に感じたものが忘れられない。
あの時はストレスが溜まりに溜まっていた影響もあって、何となくいい景色を見たいなあと思って天橋立に行きました。それは正解でした。あの海を見た時の開放感はそれまで感じたことのないものでした。
そしてまた、海を見たくなって三重県へと行ったわけです。欲深いのかもしれない。そして、この欲深さがストレスの原因かもと思ったり。

Continuing our journey to Mie Prefecture. I didn't particularly like the sea. I remember going swimming in the sea as a child and enjoying it to some extent, but I never felt the desire to go to the sea as an adult. It's not that I'm a good swimmer, and I'm not good at taking pictures of the ocean either. That seems to have changed. I can't forget what I felt when I went to Amanohashidate the other day. At that time, I was feeling a lot of stress, so I went to Amanohashidate because I wanted to see some nice scenery. That was correct. The feeling of freedom I felt when I saw the ocean was something I had never felt before. And I wanted to see the sea again, so I went to Mie Prefecture. Maybe I'm greedy. And I thought that this greediness might be the cause of stress.

夕陽はiPhoneより一眼レフの方が良いですね。iPhoneにも露出などの設定をできるアプリがありますが、そういうのを使うと良いのかも。それでも夕陽を撮るなら一眼レフを使うかな。

Sunsets are better seen with a single-lens reflex camera than with an iPhone. There is also an app on the iPhone that allows you to set things like exposure, so it might be a good idea to use that. If I still want to take pictures of the sunset, I'd probably use a single-lens reflex camera.

これはホテルの敷地にある「次郎六郎海水浴場」で撮影しています。見えている海は英虞湾です。もう少し沖の方に出ると真珠の養殖いかだがあります。

This photo was taken at "Jiro Rokuro Beach" on the hotel grounds. The sea you can see is Ago Bay. If you go a little farther offshore, you will find a pearl culture raft.

この後、「岬の展望台」に戻っていくつか写真を撮った後ホテルに戻りました。

After this, we returned to the "Misaki Observation Deck" and took some photos before returning to the hotel.

このあとはホテルに戻って夕食をとり、敷地内にある「天文館」で天体観測をしました。望遠鏡で見たのは月と土星、あとは恒星を見ましたけれど星の名前を忘れてしまった・・・。
月はちょうど満月で、明るすぎて望遠鏡で見るよりは肉眼で見た方がはっきり見えました。不思議なものです。
月が明るすぎて、星が見えないというのも残念でした。これは次の機会ですね。冬に来ると良いということも教えてもらったので、また計画を立ててみるかな。

Afterwards, we went back to the hotel, had dinner, and did some astronomical observation at the Astronomical Museum on the premises. I saw the moon and Saturn through a telescope, and I also saw a star, but I forgot the name of the star. The moon was just full and so bright that it was more visible with the naked eye than through a telescope. It's a strange thing. Unfortunately, the moon was so bright that I couldn't see the stars. This is your next opportunity. I also learned that it's best to come in the winter, so I'll probably make plans again.
